Capítulo 4: Meanwhile In chernobog

Today was supposed to be normal. Just playing Item Asylum or The Strongest Battleground. I was like Minos Prime, I picked Hale most of the time because It's lore accurate that Minos Is just super strong. He's my Ideal guy to kick ass.
But now I'm just floating In the dead of darkness. Which for a little bit scared me. I mean I would continue to be scared If I wasn't floating In the void as Minos himself! I can't state this enough, but I'm genuinely soo ecstatic and thrilled.
To think I'm now Inhabiting the body of Minos. But this Isn't enough. If I'm Minos then I must speak and act like him! No ones gonna stop me from becoming a fair Judge and a benevolent being!
As I drifted In this dark place giggling to myself. I saw a small light. This was of course my first thought. I slowly floated towards Its direction, It seemed familiar. Then I realized, can It be another soul?
As I completed the thought, I was sucked In. Now I was Inside something else. I rub my chin looking around, Was it the same? I continued to loiter around, doing so I now find myself with another person.
First of all he wore a mask, He had a hoodie and thick clothing on his body. He sat on a chair and a table with a chessboard. He finally notices my presence, he looks at me. It seems he hasn't seen anyone like me or anyone ever.
He seems to be Inviting me, as he moves his fingers towards himself. I gladly accepted and sat on the chair of the opposing side of the chessboard. He claps his hands together and looks at me. We eye each other, while his masks hold the endless abyss. My face hold It too.
He looks back down, he seems to want to have a game. I once again rub my chin, I move my pawn G4. He moves his pawn E5. I move my other pawn F3. He moves his queen H4... Checkmate.
I got checkmated already. I place my hand on my forehead and look up. I didn't expect that. I lost In 2 moves.. Aight he got me. Should I speak with him? Would It be a good Idea? So far everything has been peacefully quiet In the void.
I let out a deep sigh, If there was one. I place my elbow on the table and make a fist, placing It on the cheek of my face. "It seems thy game Is over."
He looks at me. I could feel his deepening gaze on me. "Indeed." He responds. "You're the first visitor here."
"I see... Must have been quite lonely." I said with a bit of sorrow.
"No.. With all the things I've done. This Is a deserving punishment." His clapped hands now grab each other as he places his head on them.
"Crimes are not forgotten. As a fair Judge, your eternal sorrow Is deserving then." I responded.
"I know. I was a monster when I didn't want to be." He said. The words were filled with limbo. No progress or any Improvement In his mood or situation.
I thought to myself. 'I would be here for quite a while huh?'

I discussed with him for a long time. I don't know for how long. But he talked about different topics for a while. But at the start It was just a depress aura he let out, unwilling to talk as much and would avoid sensitive topics. Such as war and close relatives. I also found out they call him Doctor, he was unwilling to tell me his real name so I didn't push In respect of his privacy.
Now his more willing to talk with me. It's fun to say the least. He had a lot In mind and we discussed It. During our talks he did mention he was some kind of commander. So I now understand why he avoided topic about war before. I guess watching your own men die would affect you mentally.
During our daily discussion a bright light shined down upon us. I saw him start floating upwards, he starts scrambling trying to swim down. I jump to grab, and save him. But no matter how much I pulled him down he just kept going. So I didn't let go and waited where It would lead us.
I look down once again, seeing the table where the chessboard we played so much off sat. Good memories spice to say. Now the light Ingulfed both of us. Moment later I could see. I don't know where I am. I hear voices.
I tried to move. but I didn't, my arm never moved from It's place. I realized as I continued to examine my situation Is that I'm now laying. But It's not my body. The coat... I realized who It was. This body was doctors?! What happened??? This got me soo confused.
Then It hit me. When Doctor was floating upwards. That was his conscious or rather soul maybe coming back to life. So me trying to pull him down didn't work, so when I continued to grab onto him, I'm now maybe sharing bodies with him now.
I calmed down and continued listening to the voices around me. There was a mix of urgency and rambling. I couldn't understand what there saying most of the time since It's muffled but the tone was somewhat understandable.
Next thing the fucking shining light returned. I swear to god can there not be anything as bright as the goddamn sun when a flash of light shines upon thee?!
Finally I can hear the voices much clearer before. "Doctor... Doctor!" I hear. Granted the voice almost sounded teary. But also glad. I see
"Circulation restored. Cardioplegia Solutions Injected." I hear another say while the voice the same voice from before kept calling for Doctor.
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry!" She said, I think a tear might have finally went down just from that tone alone.
"Hemostat! Condition Stabilized. Commencing Resection. Watch For VFib." I hear another person say. The vision I'm looking out from slowly closed. I sighed knowing Doctor was In control and alive.
"I'm sorry... for making you suffer again." I once again hear that same person from before say again. Like calm down lady, his not dead.
Waiting for a bit. I can see out the world again. This time the light wasn't as bright as I see a young girl with donkey ears blocking the light. pfft...
"Doctor?" She said. Realizing the eyes wide open she formed a smile and got a little closer. "Doctor!" She held his hand and place his hand on her forehead like a kid blessing an elder.
"Thank goodness... your awake..." She closed her eyes and held on his hand. She brushed her hands against his. "Long time no see... Doctor."
She let go of his palms and rose back up. "It's Amiya. Were finally bringing you back." Doctor seemed unresponsive. I wonder what happened to him? He thought.
"Doctor? What's wrong? Can you... hear me?" Yes, loud and clear. Maybe not the Doctor but I do.
"Body Temperature," Someone said, causing her to look towards the person. "Blood pressure, and everything else Is within normal ranges. According to these numbers, physiological functions... All look good." The person finished. She looks down back to us with worry.
"Amiya," She jumps a little getting her name called. "There's an urgent call call from Capt. Dobermann!" He said with urgency. "She ran Into a group of militants, probably the reunion."
She Immediately took her gaze away from us as she heard the 'reunion'. I guess those are the militant's he said about. If I'm guessing correctly, they would start flooding this place If we stay here.
"She says to exfiltrate Immediately and avoid contact."
"Maybe they're here for the doctor-" She shook her. "No, they shouldn't know about the doctor. Whatever their objective Is, we have to avoid contact with them at all cost. Let's get out of here."
"Yes ma'am!"
"Roger!"
I was right, I think. So they would be arriving here soon. We need to go now. Cmon doctor wake up! Move and do something! I stayed here unable to help my new friend. I'll have no choice but to just stay put and watch.
I watch doctor actually move... Thank god I wasn't about to watch be carried out by hand or stretcher like I was watching a first person movie.

I watched In total silence as we moved through a giant open area with giant pillar. I saw the people walk pass us. I assume those are the Militants. The guy In front of ze doctor halted us. As they finally got far enough, we moved while that guy In the beanie covered out back.
Doctor watched thoughtlessly the guy In the beanie open a vault door. Something was wrong with Doctor, he wasn't 'this' unresponsive.
The guy opened the door. As we went Inside and holy shit that's a lot of stairs. Doctor you better have good cardio and muscles. Because that's a long way downnnnn. Oh wait, I'm also gonna have to watch you go down these stairs. FU-
hm- huh? We there? Oh my god, were finally at the bottom. At the bottom there's a single small vault door. What's the purpose of this entrance?! Why's that there??? Anyways. I watch go to the side and slide open the vault door. Then one them jump In front and went In, checking his corners.
"All Clear." I hear him. Then we proceed Inside.
As they all got In, I can see Doctor's vision wobbling up and down. Not good, If he's to get out alive, he need's to keep up with the rest of em.
"Doctor, let's take a rest here for a moment." She told him. Good call. Doctors really tired from that Journey he made. That staircase Is the greatest enemy of Po from kung fu panda.
"Amiya," I hear the guy beside doctor say. "I can't reach Capt. Dobermann."
"She might have already engaged the Reunion already." Good point. I wonder what's happening? Was this an ordinary conflict? Or Is this a secret mission to rescue a high priority target? No, that girl said they shouldn't know about Doctor. I guess will soon find out.
"We need to stay alert-" I hear about to say, but Doctor comes crashing down... Doctor keep yourself steady my friend. Your the only guy I talked with the moment I appeared In this world. Good thing these people came to assist him as quick as possible.
"Doctor! Are you okay?" No his not fine, he just fell to the floor. Clear signs of not being fine.
"Your breathing Is too shallow! Take deep breaths!" The one In front said. Now I shouldn't say this but... I never noticed there ears. I just noticed now, I guess I was too preoccupied to care about noticing those little features of there bodies.
I shouldn't shut up now. Let's give him some Instructions and advice, he might be a little dazed up from being asleep for too long. "Doctor, Take deep breaths. Thy own body won't take care of It's self."
Doctor suddenly looked up and looked both ways. I guess he didn't know who's voice that was. But nice to know he can hear me. He also followed as Instructed! Good, good.
"Take It easy. Calm your breathing." That donkey eared..? I don't know. I can't tell. Said to Doc. His gonna be fine as long as he does take It easy.
"You don't have to say anything right now. You can rest up properly once we get back on the ship. Everything's okay." She told the Doctor. Ship... A boat? I guess were leaving by ship or something?

Doctor's being carried on the back of the guy with the beanie. Now I don't wanna spoil the mood but uhh.. Those are a lot of bad guys. Are they even sure these are Militants or straight up the army of some country? I guess there occupying this place soon, they better hurry up or we'll be done for.
"The Reunion Is covering the rendezvous point." No shit they are. Better find another way.
"I don't see any signs of a fight." The guy carrying us said. I can see that, no blood or hostages.
"We can't regroup here. Head to the backup point." Thank god they had a backup plan.
We'll search the area If we don't find Dobermann there." I'm really meaning to ask, who names there kid Dobermann???
They all got up and head towards the doorway. Looks like were moving now, they stop. That girl In front seems to have detected something. "I hear footsteps. Turn back!" Fuck, Turn back now you fools! Don't just stand there, move it!
"Someone's coming from this way, too!" The girl behind us said In urgency.
...Shit. I really need to help them.. but how? I should try, I don't wanna take over doctor's body without telling him hehe. "Doctur Hope ya don't mind." The Doctor wobbled his head, once again hearing a voice out of nowhere. Does my voice sound different for him? He should know It's me.
As I slowly try to take conscious of the Doctor. Those masked freaks pass by noticing us. "Who are you? What are you doing here?" Fuck you, were just trying leave this place. "Drop your weapons!" He pointed his blade on that catgirl's neck. "Who are you people! What are you doing here?! Start Talking!"" The second I fucking take Doctors body Is the moment you'll feel my wrath.
"We are not your enemy, please calm down." Doctor turned his head towards that girl. Good, continue speaking, distract them while I try to do my own thing.
"Lies right off the bat, huh. Search them head to tail. Were taking them in." Fuck, fuck, FUCK. The girl being taken now. "Get up!" As she's taken up violently.
"Hey!" The guy In the beanie shouted, then his just sucker punched right on his face.
"Guard!" The girl tried to move but she's stopped by that guy's blade. "No funny moves."
Unbeknownst to these shitheads, the Doctors eyes glowed blue. As the Minos "Prime" Imposter tried taking his body. "Come on Doc! Don't fight, I'll return your body to you once I take care of these bastards!" He shouted at the Doctor. Next thing that happened was Doctor was on ground clutching his head.
"Doctor!" That girl tried to move again to assist Doctor, but she's stopped by that militant once again. "Told you, no funny moves."
"Doctor, let me handle this." Now taking control of the doctor body partially. He moved Doctor, who's now standing up. These fuckers about to receive It.
Before I can move I see one of them launch. One's down, let's take care of this one. The Doctor hand glowed blue as snakes wrapped around his arm. "Die." As I deliver a punch towards the guy holding the blade on that girls neck. Apparently, I moved doctor just as fast. Looks like my powers transfers when I take over, good, good.
I turned and examined my surrounding, looks like were safe for now. And reinforcement's seems to have arrived. "Doc.. tor?" I hear someone say, I turned to see It was that donkey girl. I let go of the Doctors body, and as soon as I did, his body drops to the floor. He pulls his mask down puking.
...My bad. I guess his body wasn't conditioned to do that. Sorry doc If I gave you muscle strain and using up your stamina just to deliver one punch. Good thing, that girl was ready to assist Doc. Anyways, I'll be here for a while. I'll go and rest or just tirelessly watch In boredom.
