Buzz.
Whir...
Jiang Yuan's phone vibrated several times, finally drawing Heng Qiongsi's concern.
Heng Qiongsi said, "If you're busy, you can deal with that first."
"It's nothing, just some family members showing their concern," Jiang Yuan silently accepted the red packet sent by his dad. He had just bought a house, and his savings had indeed taken a dip.
Heng Qiongsi chuckled and asked, "Is it really family members?"
"Of course. The legendary aunts and uncles and all that."
"Wow, that's nice. In my family, there are hardly any relatives," Heng Qiongsi explained further: "My grandfather joined the military and most of our relatives passed away quite early, so we lost touch with those back in our hometown. In my father's generation, there are only three people, and all are only children..."
Heng Qiongsi naturally transitioned into a light conversation.
