Capítulo 85: You are saved now

Avery used every ounce of her strength to run into the woods. She has been running for some minutes, not taking a break for once.

She didn't offend anyone, so who could want her dead? She didn't stop running as she occasionally glanced at the screen of her cellphone. 

Just when she looked back, the three men were already close to her. Judging by the way they dressed, she figured out they were probably a thug or something.

"What do you want?" Avery asked them, and her chest rose and fell simultaneously. Her hands kept shaking and her leg wobbled slightly but she steeled herself.

She had to stop running, knowing fully well that they would soon get close to her. 

"Tell me, who sent you?" Avery asked with so much bravery but inside, she was weeping silently and praying for a breakthrough. Her heels hurt her feet but she was all alone in the wood.
