Jules' pov
I almost fainted from shock, but I didn't.
But I did grow extremely dizzy that I had to lean against the wall behind me for balance in order to catch my breath.
"What?" I whispered and Raven grimaced while giving me an unimpressed look.
"This is something you can't change. I'd suggest you start adapting to living this way." She continued before picking up her bag and slinging it over her shoulder. She winced a little and I knew it was because of her injured hands.
"Can't we try again? It might work this time." Andrian inquired as he walked behind her because she was currently heading for the entrance of his office.
She whirled around and gave him a scalding look, one which was cold enough to make me flinch, but Andrian remained unmoving.
"Are you crazy?" She demanded, eyes flashing with anger.
"I'm just saying–"
