Caishen was not the only one who planned to drink on this night. Alix too intended to finally partake fully in the joy of carefree social drinking with the help of the system. 

For two points, the system provided her with a medical patch, a device that was an automatic alcohol synthesizer. Once attached to her skin, she could drink for eight hours and there would be no consequences because it released a chemical that broke down the alcohol components and eliminated it through the pores of her skin.

Alix experienced a new kind of excitement that she had felt only a few times before. The kind which mostly came when she was getting ready to head into a new gaming world.

She did have a nagging little assistant in her mind that kept reminding her to drink responsibly and get enough rest.
