Capítulo 22: chapter 23
"How are you getting the money to support the camp?" Annabeth demanded as she slammed her hand asked Percy's desk.
Percy's eyes showed amusement before tilting his head, the doll followed suit. She had no idea what the concept of money was, but she assumed it was similar to blood echos.
"And?" Percy said as he drank his tea.
"It doesn't make sense," she said as she gripped her hair.
"You buying the camp borders, yeah I can get behind that. But a whole 2 acres around the camp? That's like millions. Not including the person who bought it said they weren't ever selling it," she said.
Percy smiled and looked at her like a teacher finding something amusing.
"Don't you have training right now? Why not go bother Emma," Percy smiled knowing damn well Emma would put her in her place.
Annabeth flinched At the mention of Emma, but gave out a sigh and stormed out, her gray eyes telling him that she wouldn't give up until she knew.
Percy just chuckled before going on his phone. He went to the famous site.

"Ooo, seems someone's planning to break out hoxtons huh?" Percy said with a smile.
....
"Get the fuck up," Percy yelled at clover who was down on the ground after heavy police fire.
Percy reloaded his weapon as he fired back at the cops. Clover got back up and started firing once more.
"I NEED A MEDIC BAG,"
Percy grabbed a mini gun from one of the dozers and used it against said dozer. Percy dodged his way through a hell storm of bullets and snipers and banged against the truck as they entered the car parking storage.
"Get behind cover," Percy yelled as he covered their retreat.
Clover, Dallas, and joy began working on lockpicking the doors, but since that was taking forever, Percy just kicked in the door and punched through the dozers face mask and blew his head off.
"Good now keep the police off the computer," bain said in his earpiece.
When they removed the armor and made sure the cops didn't see where they were, they escaped into the sewers.

Percy went back to camp and assumed his director position. honestly it was kind of fun for him, since emma covered combat, he covered survival skills.
Percy hummed as he received almost 20 million for his last job he completed, and that was enough to support the camp for a while. More than that, Percy sent some to his mother, enough to live a comfortable life and to start as a writer.
Then there was the blonde girl who didn't know how to mind her business, but bain was a master of his craft, so his money was already untraceable.
"Why must life be so... tiring," Percy groaned as he leaned back in his wheelchair.
oh he thought he would finally get some rest after hunting the beast in yharnam, but no, here he was fighting the FBI, CIA, and everything in between.
hell, even border patrol was after the payday gang now.
Percy had to smile, he missed this. He missed the chase he felt in yharnam. Percy hummed as he heard the distant screams of children getting bullied.
'How peaceful,' he said as he took a sip of his tea.
"there you are." Percy heard Maria come up to him.
"do you have any idea how long it took to find you, seriously you need a bell around your neck," she said.
"I was just out... hunting some beast?" Percy said.
"oh yeah that'll work on me alright," she said as she rolled her eyes.
"I want in," she said as she sat down on the desk.
