Nicolas watched the live broadcast and listened to Festa's provocative words without showing any emotion. He simply ran his fingers lightly along the edge of the wine glass in his hand.
Seeing Nicolas's indifferent reaction, the others present remained silent. For them, as long as Nicolas didn't express an opinion, Bullet and Kaido's group could do whatever they wanted.

In the New World, on Cake Island, Charlotte Linlin watched the broadcast with a blank expression. Next to her were several of her children, led by Katakuri. They all saw the Eternal Pose to the Final Island that Festa displayed and sneered.
Others might be fooled, but they knew the truth: if such a pointer to the Final Island existed, it would be in Roger's hands. There was no way Bullet, who left the crew before even reaching Water 7, could have it.

"Mamamama, what are Kaido's people up to?" Charlotte Linlin asked with a sinister smile, clearly not believing Festa's claim about the Eternal Pose and suspecting it was a scheme by Kaido and Bullet.
Hearing her laugh, Katakuri and the other key members of the Charlotte family grew grim. "Mama's condition is getting worse," Katakuri thought, his focus shifting from the broadcast to Charlotte Linlin. The battle on Cake Island was still fresh in his mind. Many of their siblings, including the eldest son Perospero, had died, and the soul of the nun within Linlin had been slain.
They had hoped to change Linlin's mindset, but it was clear they were mistaken. Over time, the influence of the nun had made Linlin even more violent.
Unaware of her children's thoughts, Linlin's face twisted into a cold smile. "What a boring farce," she muttered.
In the New World, the undercurrents were fierce.

Outside Wano Country, a World Government ship cut through the waves, stopping before a waterfall. Nearby, a massive skeleton of a giant elephant knelt silently. This was the remains of Zunesha, now a lifeless skeleton after the battle in Wano.
"Captain, are you sure we should land in Wano?" asked a CP0 member wearing a special mask and white robe, clearly nervous about the intimidating skeleton. CP0 was powerful on the seas but not in the New World, where many didn't respect them. Wano, in particular, was one of those places where they doubted even the World Nobles would be spared if caught.
The captain of the CP0 squad surveyed his men and ship. This was a large ship that could carry nearly a thousand troops, but to show sincerity, it only held essential personnel and their small team. Their mission was to contact the Nicholas Pirates and speak with Nicolas. Numbers wouldn't matter in front of Nicolas anyway.
Soon, a Wano patrol ship noticed them, and the CP0 team quickly indicated they had no hostile intentions. During the boarding and inspection process by Wano's forces, the CP0 members cooperated fully. The inspectors found nothing threatening on board, which was expected by the CP0 team, as they knew their mission.

In the Holy Land of Mariejois, within the Room of Authority, the Five Elders gathered once again.
"We've just received word that CP0 has arrived off the coast of Wano and is preparing to land," said the blond, bearded Elder in a suit. The other four Elders, who had been resting with their eyes closed, opened their eyes.
"Oh, they've arrived? Then they should be able to contact Nicolas soon, since Wano seems to be his base," remarked the tall, thin Elder with three strands of long white beard. The bald Elder with glasses and a sword snorted, clearly displeased with Nicolas taking over Wano.
Seeing the others remain silent, the bearded Elder continued, "We should prepare for talks with Nicolas. Also, there's another issue: Kaido, Bullet, and the LV6 Outlaw Alliance in the New World. According to the latest information, the troops transporting Heavenly Tribute were attacked, and the attackers even broadcasted it live."
He pressed a button on the Den Den Mushi next to him, and footage of Bullet attacking the government forces began playing on the wall in front of them. Watching Bullet's rampage and Festa's inflammatory words, the Five Elders showed little reaction. To them, these were just minor troubles.
When the footage ended, the tall, thin Elder looked at the others and asked, "What do you all think we should do about this?"
"This is clearly a challenge to the World Government's authority. I suggest we launch a military campaign!" one Elder proposed.
"I don't think we should attack just Bullet. He's aligned with Kaido, so his actions can be seen as Kaido's challenge to the government. We should crush their alliance entirely and use this opportunity to restore the government's diminished authority," another Elder argued.
The bald Elder with the sword added coldly, "I agree. It seems the government has been too quiet for too long. It's time to remind them who rules this world."
"I think we should hold off on any attacks," said the bald, mustached Elder with a scar on his forehead. "According to the intelligence, Kaido is currently at war with the Whitebeard Pirates. We should wait until both sides are severely weakened. Besides, Shanks won't stand by and watch the New World descend into chaos, and even we don't fully understand his intentions."
The others pondered this, knowing that there were often disagreements among the Five Elders. They usually decided by a vote, but it seemed that waiting and allowing the situation to unfold was the more advantageous strategy for the World Government.
