Capítulo 232: Planning to host a watch party

Fil knew she didn't have to thank Jackson for it, but she was glad the man didn't tire her so much last night. Considering he got so excited when she told him how much she loved him and that he made her detail what exactly he liked about him, he still considered she had work to do the next day.

"Ken!" Fil immediately changed course to Kenzo's desk instead of going straight to hers. "Why are you here?"

Kenzo furrowed his brows as he leaned back in his chair. "Uh… because I work here?"

"Shouldn't you be resting?"

"Resting already happened yesterday," he reasoned. "And today, I need to work unless I don't want to pay my bills. Those things aren't gonna pay themselves."

Fil sighed as she looked at him dead in the eye. "Really?"

"Haha. I'm okay." He laughed. "I was discharged last night, and the doctor told me as long as I follow his instructions, I'm good."

"Are you sure?"

"Yep."
