With the transformation complete, the construct that stood before them in the shape of a massive, spiked wolf made of metal. Its glowing, Spirit Quartz eyes scanning the room with an intelligence that sent a shiver down Lassim's spine as the power that the construct radiated felt like it touched upon the realm his master, Volten, was most recently a part of—Spirit Mystic stage. It noticeably wasn't quite in that realm yet, but it felt like it was only missing the tiniest bit of something before crossing over to the next stage.

"So… What is it exactly?" Lassim asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

"I don't know," Rlyis said, her eyes still a bit wide with disbelief at the whole situation. "But whatever it is, it's not what we designed."

The construct let out a low growl, its metal claws clicking against the platform as it circled them. For a moment, Lassim thought it might attack, but then it stopped, lowering its head as if waiting for a command.
