"Thank God for that, finally, I've quizzed shadowheart on all the Gods related to death, dark and undeath, I'm ready." Everyone from Kelemvor to Velsharoom, I have covered, not to mention Jergal.
"Start exam on undead"
['Undead' exam starting]
Bright neon technicolour lights flashed in my eyes, surprising me. I adjust for a moment to see a game show set?
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen, would you please welcome today's contestant!" I look out to the crowd see a large wave of zombies grunting loudly.
"Thank you, simmer down now simmer down. So contestant number one has picked category 'undead', which I'm sure everyone is as excited as me about" The host himself was a mummy wrapped up in blood-soaked bandages, the only thing showing him as a host is the button up shirt and blue trousers he wears. "Let's get this show on a roll! Question number one! What is the main weakness of undead?"
I've kind of always wanted to be on a game show, this is awesome! "Uhhh, radiant damage!" A loud ding rang thrice.
"Corrrrrreect! That was a point towards level1!" I turn to my left to see 6 digital scoreboards, all of them had 0 projected aside from lv1 with 1.

I have no idea how long I spent giving answers, fortunately for me I could request segments to give further detail for bonus points. There I managed to cram in my game and movie undead knowledge, aside from that everything I wanted to say he asked about. Unfortunately though, I did not know the name of Vlaakith's 42th victim's uncle's name was and the show ended there.
On the bright side, I think I utilised my segment very good, I talked for an hour on alhoons and an extra half hour on the undead ooze. But when the curtains called I was gone, brought back to the comfort of my own chair.

I watch as the rewards flood in, a large smile cracks my face as I read through it. I pause when I see undeath, thinking about it, I guess there really is nothing it can give me I have all the benefits already.

I was sat there for 10 minutes giving me something I already had over and over. Until something new:

Undead ooze ability allowing you to spit out a skeleton you've collected and have it fight for you. Slayed skeletons can be engulfed once again and reused.]

Undead without masters see no reason to attack you and may even assist you if you ask nicely]

Transform into the classic set of undead from stories! Scales with [Undead] level, current level [3] allows: zombie, vampire, skeleton, ghoul and crypt chanter]

"Holy crap, there was more? That'll last me until the last fight, now with necrotic damage, there's exceedingly little I'm not immune or resistant too. All I'm missing is thunder, radiant, psychic and force, everything else I'm resistant or immune to."
I use this excitement to boost myself overnight, I go through and examine every single ability, analysing pros and cons of them all, in my opinion, it's a great finish to the past 3 months.

Overnight I came up with a theory, since Cazador is still Astarion's master, could I not just screw with him by having Astarion stab me? I know he won't die and will instead return to his coffin, but it can be a release.
On my walk over, the strange ox squints at me and realises something. I think I saw the same look in Ethel's eyes once I became a hag. I live for it at this point, maybe if I turn into a vampire Astarion will do the same. Speaking of which I see him pause and look over to me, a conflicting look of friendliness and confusion on his face, maybe [Undead Ally] is affecting him.
"Morning, I think I've got some news I think you would love to hear, come with me to the coast quickly" I don't wait for a response and drag him with me.
"What in the blazes are we doing out here? It's freezing!" I feel the wind press up on my skin, but there is no cold, just the wind.
"Ah quit whining, here take this" I place my silver ornamental knife into his hand.
"Right, what for- OH MY GOODNESS"
[Reflect undead activated]
I threw myself onto the knife, quite elegantly I might add. Pulling myself up and pulling the knife out, there's no wound on my body, I can't help but smile.
"Congratulations Astarion, you just stabbed Cazador in the stomach!" I wave my arms in the air and applaud for him.
Astarion still stood there with a look of true confusion on his face, I think I might've cast confusion on him. "I created a cool ritual, so any undead that attack me deal damage to their master instead!"
"A heads up would've been nice at the very least, but please don't let me stop you from telling me about stabbing Cazador" He waved the knife around casually now, as if it didn't have Cazador's blood on it.
"So take you for example, you can now never hurt me as long as Cazador is your master, all damage done to me will be done to him instead." I give him another cheery smile.
He looks down at the knife and back to me, "Do you mind?"
"Astarion, do you really think I would've taken you to the coast if I didn't expect you to inflict as much pain onto Cazador as possible?"
"Hm fair point" He awkwardly jammed the knife into my arm, clearly checking it wouldn't hurt me instead, "It's fine, I don't feel any of this, I'm like a voodoo doll" I encourage him. To emphasise, I use my [Change Shape] to remove my shirt.
That helped I think because he started doing gradual slashes leading to deep cuts, it only took 2 minutes for him to be digging out my throat with the dagger. Not to mention the other places he heavily focused on, I think I might need to use [Undiagnose] on him again, because it looks like a few damaging memories have resurfaced for him.
10 minutes of animalistic attacking and it was finally over. I stay stood there unblemished and Astarion lay weeping on his knees in front of me, I place my hand upon his head and remove a whisp, one that only reared its head now, CPTSD.
He seemed soothed somewhat, but nevertheless an emotional wreck. I think we'll have to postpone the gauntlet of Shar for another day.
