It's an amazing novel, but I unfortunately can not continue. The characters are intertaining to read, and the author seems to have thought out their personalities well. The world seems active (even without the mcs intervention), which is a good sign in terms of world development. The writing quality is ok. It's not the best, but it is readable. The grammer mistakes sometimes break immersion, but overall, it's readable. The updates aren't too bad, although personally, I would prefer faster releases, but I know that people have busy schedules and don't have the whole day to write their books. My problem stems from the mc and the reoccurring dominant females. The princess who seems to find the mc amusing for some reason, and gives the feeling that they are bonded in some way. The advisor to the King of the Golden Crow Kingdom, who the mc seems to have a soft spot (and view her as a source of peace for him), or at least seems will have a close relation to the mc one way or another(though I don't know how close). The part which made me dejected the most is when the mc (in a vulnerable state after battle with 2 former rank 8s) chooses (willingly) to go to the advisors hideout due to him feeling at peace in HER hideout. The mc seems to try and project loneliness, but his actions and thoughts seem to desire some form of companionship (either platonic or more intimate, I don't know). An example of this is during the inheritance at the beginning with the woman he had saved for his plans but grown fond of, where although he had already made countermeasures for the liklihood of betrayal (he killed her), he seemed hopeful that she wouldn't due to her perceived innocence (which he was incorrect to believe in it would seem). Don't get me wrong, the book is amazing, hence why I gave it a 4/5, but it just isn't my cup of tea. I expected a loner mc who either slowly descends into loneliness due to his ambition and goals (which he seems to lack, or have any drive in), or one who was always a loner, but I don't get the feeling this is how this book will turn out. So, in conclusion, this book is recommended for anyone looking for a ruthless mc, but not a loner in their path to the top.

Decent Start found this by accident seems interesting but updates are a little slow since last one is 8 days ago ? so I'm oblivious wether author is gouing to drop more updates or not

This story is essentially a Walmart version of Reverend Insanity—with romance. Author, do you think you’re low-key? Do you think readers are foolish? Having the most powerful cultivator be female alone makes you sus. Yet somehow, she finds the MC, a nobody, interesting. She continues to protect him time and time again. Don’t think we don’t see through you, you romance lover. 🤢🤮 Plus, he also cares for his mother. What a villain indeed. 😒 To all my fellow villain readers: this is a fake villain, and the story will have romance in the future.

There are only few chapters but so many things already happened. I can see the hint of world building, the development is also good. Language is also fairly good. There were some problems, but over all decent novel. MC has no goal right now, but I saw Author's comment that he will give him goal through journey, so let's see. I don't like MCs without any proper goal.

Hmm, well, let's start with the mc. He is an out and out villain by chapter 32, not bothering about the consequences of his actions. In fact, he doesn't even think at all, and when he does he does it wrong. He has no bottom line, which might be fine for others, but I honestly don't like villains like these, because I feel like they're empty, but each to his own. As for the side characters, well, they have been given good development, although it is mostly predictable developments. The writing style is not bad, while the world background is also fine. Updates are okayish, the author probably took a break in the middle, so it's fine now. It is a good novel for people who like villains with no bottom line at all, so check it out before you make a decision.

This story is good and it has good potential, I just hope the author updates more often, I was a bit disappointed in the first chapoters when he was hesitatnt to kill

Other than the updates problem, the story is great. I saw other comments, I mean yes he is not outright villain like Fang Yuan and Zhou Fan. But it is still good on it's own. There are only few chapters, so can't say how it will be in future. As of now, it's decent one. At least my cup of tea.
