Capítulo 20: Chapter 20- Nearly dying because of silly jokes

"Arc, Nappa, Vero, and Rimuru, you would be going with me. Buzo Zoro, you would be leading the second team, but do take the help of others in directions because you always make wrong decisions in matters of direction. The third team will guided by the Sakura Laji. It's my order."

Gojo said while saying directly that he is not asking anyone instead he is telling them.

A person with yellow-colored hair pouted like he was annoyed by the remarks of Gojo but didn't say anything. This person was Zoro. He knows he is bad at directions but doesn't like it when others point that out.

'I am not even that bad. Well, the last time I got lost was only going to a monster nest instead of a human shelter on another island. It wasn't that big of thing.' Zoro thought to himself.

"Now everyone, if anyone has any questions, you can ask me right now," Gojo said because he didn't want them yapping the questions all in their journey there.

"Um, Can we use monster souls now instead of these alloy bows and arrows?" One person on a long-range team.

"You are an idiot. Alloy Bows and arrows were brought to hunt flying type of monsters as these monster souls of long ranges are very rare. After hunting those eagle monsters, bows and arrows have served their purpose. It doesn't matter if you now keep them or throw them away but keep in mind you might also encounter other flying-type monsters." This time it was Nappa who said all this. He was regretting the time when he recruited these thoughtless morons who need someone to tell them everything before they do something.

"Yes." Everyone said in unison.

They all don't want to drop these alloy weapons because even though it wasn't superior to monster souls it is still expensive. After all, alloys that can hurt monsters can be counted on the fingers.

They can use it in this adventure till the end and then sell it for money, even though the selling cost would be reduced if weapons got harmed in any way, but still, it would be a lot.

Arc did not know some such metals and alloys have durability and ability to hunt these monsters who have long exceeded the durability of metals like iron, steel, and even diamond. Even low-ranked monsters are really strong especially those that have more power in the aspect of defense like turtles, armadillos, snails, bears and others.

With the gesture of his hand, Gojo told people he included in his team to follow him. And they did start following him, Arc was at the last of the group following them.

They walked as the first group and others walked after the time difference of 3 minutes from one other group.

Arc was wondering what was so special about this boy Gojo that everyone was scared of him, even though he had shown a powerful strength he thought that Napa and Zoro were also near that same strength level. So, what does allow Gojo to boss around these people? Is it family background, that can be a possibility?

They walked for hours and hours, but that area was devoid of any monsters which made it a silent area where only their walking sounds could be heard. To make the thing more spooky there were many skeletons of all types of monsters.

"Ooooh, this place can be used as a shooting place for horror dramas. But the smell of these rotting monsters is gonna make me sick when I rerun to earth." Rimuru made a joke again even though no one was paying attention to him.

All this journey, Rimuru kept making these jokes non-stop.

Nappa and Arc were gritting their teeth to stop themselves from attacking Rimuru.

"Gojo does something to stop him or I will do something myself about it." Napa came close to Gojo while saying this.

Napa waited for Gojo to respond to his question. But no reply ever came back while Gojo continued walking in front guiding them.

"Hey, Gojo did you even hear what I said?" Nappa tried once more saying this.

Then Nappa noticed that Gojo had put Cotten in his ears. This thing irritated Nappa to no end because they had been suffering all this time while this boy was enjoying himself.

"Huh, did you say something, Nappa?" Gojo said while nudging Nappa who was now in his own thoughts while making some faces which he usually makes when he is angry at someone. Druing this Gojo was looking at Nappa shamelessly after removing his cotton from one ear.

"Nothing, I was just asking when are we gonna reach this place?" Nappa said trying to change the topic because it's embarrassing to ask one thing twice, especially in this situation.

"We will be reaching there in about 5 more hours. But before that, we will be going to another human shelter which is just 2 hours away from now to spend the night there. You can go around and check if you want to buy something from there as it has a set of good monster souls for selling purposes." Gojo said with a wide smile.

Nappa was now moving slowly to walk with Arc and Vero.

"Rimuru, I think you should stop with your jokes now or all of them might team up to beat you up." Gojo made a remark before putting his cotton back inside the ear.

'So, he was hearing what I said, then why did he have to make a fool out of me.' Nappa thought this but didn't say anything.

Rimuru closed his mouth shut and looked toward everyone and saw their irritated and intimidating faces.

Vero who always had a cold face devoid of any emotions also gave a look, and its meaning was very clear to Rimuru.

Finding Rimuru finally stopping, Vero tried starting the conversation by saying, "So, does anyone want to trade a monster soul with me, I have a collection of monster souls that I don't need anymore."
