"Do we have to wait until midnight?" Rim was intrigued by the methods Anton would use at this moment.
But not everyone could afford to wait. Anton had a lot of work now as a Cardinal of Light, so he couldn't waste much time on this.
The hours turned into a long confusion of meditations where the shamans present wondered if Anton was doing things correctly.
Not everyone has the patience to wait and see results. Anton understood this, which is why he didn't give it much importance.
"My God, may your Mighty Blood of Liberation, Healing, and Redemption, shed for our salvation, combat the enemy of my body, mind, soul, and spirit; keep every fiery and poisonous dart of the evil one away from me. Do not let me fall into temptation; oh my God, by your glorious redeeming blood, deliver me from all evil. Amen."
"Amen."
"Amen."
Anton emerged from the hole, extended his hand, and murmured, "I summon you in flesh, soul, and bone to bury you once again in the depths of hell where you belong. By my hand, you will awaken, and by my hand, you will return to sleep."
Everyone waited for the next instructions from the Cardinal of Light.
"As you have seen, the situation is critical. We must act with great caution to avoid falling into the temptations of the internal demons of every being present in this place. We will wait until midnight to make the invocation and eliminate the evil spirit that torments this area."
Anton looked at the relative of the ancestor who had been corrupted and said, "Make the preparations and have everyone ready."
"Yes, Cardinal."
Rim stepped aside very understandingly, knowing she didn't need to intervene.
Lee, Rim's assistant, looked at what the agents of light were doing and asked, "Are you sure they will be more than enough?"
"You know as much as I do, so I can't give you a clearer answer. As far as we know, the Cardinals of Light are extremely powerful beings beyond our human comprehension. If the demons are strong, the Cardinals of Light are much stronger."
Crack! Crack! Crack!
At that moment, while everyone was deducing what would happen, from the bottom of the hole, right above the coffin, dark red blood began to flow, flooding the hole.
Anton walked in front of the hole and murmured, "May my God deliver me from all evil, and may the presence of virtue prevail over wickedness."
When Anton knew the moment had arrived, he gave instructions for the people to step back and stand in front of the hole, where, slowly and unexpectedly, a huge figure dressed in a samurai suit emerged from the hole.
The blood bubbled, all the agents stepped back, and the Shamans simply began to pray.
Everyone could see the enormous figure of the samurai, his worn-out suit clearly showing its age, and then the story was complete. It became clear where this resentment came from.
"I will let you look around for a bit, so when I move, I will return you to the hole you came from." Anton said, extending his hand and taking a special dagger that weighed more than two hundred kilograms.
The samurai looked at Anton with an expression full of resentment and murmured, "I have been paid well to eliminate you."
