Capítulo 79: Culmination

As I stepped into the ring, my eyes locked onto Number 129, the guy who had just put Jack down. My fists clenched, a familiar power thrumming beneath my skin.

"You beat my friend, you know?" I said, my voice slicing through the noise.

"Then you're next." He smirked.

The referee started the fight, and we began to circle.

He moved first, a quick jab darting out.

I slipped from it easily, countering it with a low kick that cracked against his shin.

I wasn't going all out, I wanted to keep him on stage and make him suffer a bit. The impact made him wince, but he stayed nimble, unleashing a flurry of punches.

I parried, each block vibrating with controlled force.

He went high with a roundhouse kick, but I ducked, closing the gap to slam a punch into his ribs.

He staggered, eyes narrowing into slits of fury. Lunging forward, he aimed a powerful kick at my head. I blocked just in time, the force sending a shockwave through the ring.
