Capítulo 5: BANDITS ON THE ROAD
As they went on the journey, Mei-ling could not help admiring ancient China.
It was so beautiful. But how was she supposed to live with no television? No electricity?

Then her mind went to the cranky old woman she had gotten the novel from and she fumed.
She had been so suspicious when she had given her the book for free!
Because the next day after she had gone by the stall the woman hadn't been there and she asked another trader who was a roadside noodles vendor where she was.
The man had shocked her by saying he had been selling here for over ten years and no such woman sold anything there.
Was she a witch?! Was she the reason why she had been transmigrated here?
If she ever saw that woman again she would strangle her no matter the fact that she was an old woman!
They were on the road for such a long time Mei-ling was tired.
"How long before we get to the palace?" Mei-ling asked.
Li-na looked at her in shock.
"Have you forgotten that we frequently used to go to the imperial palace because you wanted to catch the attention of the emperor?" Li-na asked
Mei-ling looked at Li-na in shock.
How shameless could this supporting Fl have been?
She didn't remember her previous memories of the support Fl before she had entered her body.

"We should reach hopefully in the evening." Li-na said.
Mei-ling nodded her head and turned to gaze at the road.
It was already getting dark and when Mei-ling looked out through the carriage, she could see the main city from far ahead.
She breathed in a sigh of relief at least they were close.
Then all of a sudden, the carriage was upturned and the horses made a loud noise.
It crashed and they fell out.
"My mistress!" Li-na shouted.
Then they heard loud hoofs approaching.
"Bandits!" One of the men riding the carriage said. "You need to hide!"
It was a dark and lonely road.
"Go!" They said.
Mei-ling was assisted to her feet by Li-na and together they rushed out of the road.
What was going on?!
