" Jacket... shirt... where'd I put my shirt at?" I looked around the room to find my shirt on the floor.
After putting on the shirt, I also wore my jacket.
" Let's fucking do this." I muttered as I walked uobto the doors.
I slammed my shoulder into the door and pushed it open and walked through.
It was a long hallway filled with statues.
[ Ding! Complete The Tower Challenge ]

' Challenge?' I immediately put up my gaurd as I looked around for any enemies.
Nothing came for a few seconds before I saw the statues on my side move.
A sword descended towards my head as I instantly recalled my skill.
[ Counter strike]
I automatically parried the sword and countered with a strike on its chest.
[ +5exp ]
I quickly turned around and cleaved through the next statue behind me.
[ Brutal cleave ]
The blade almost cleaved through the statue.
I kicked the statue and retrieved my sword.
[ +5exp ]
I looked down the hallway to see more statues waking from their spots.
I gripped my sword ready for battle.
They were slow, but they made up for it in numbers.
[ Ding! Adaptability activated! ]
[ Adaptability: Grant's the user a 15% boost in speed and strength when outnumbered or outmatched. ]
With [ Quick Reflexes ], I dodged the first swing and striked the second one down.
[ +5xp ]
I circled around to cleave through the first statue.
[ +5xp ]
I used [ Telekinesis] to push the rest of the statues back and stabbed the sword down at the first statue that fell down.

And as the rest tried to get up inus we this opportunity to strike them one by one.
[ +15xp ]
I recalled one of my abilities.
[ Sharingan ]
My perception was enhanced, and I was able to predict their movements.
[ Counter strike ] [ Thrust] [ Brutal Cleave ] were mostly used as I cut through each of them.
I noticed how every statue had the same attack pattern.
Spears and swords were mostly wielded by the statues.
[ Counter strike ] was used best after a spear attack, and [ Thrust ] was effective against sword users as the greatsword had a longer reach.
And [ Brutal cleave ] was effective for AOE in case I'm surrounded.
Mintues passed as I managed to cut through the last statue.
[ +5xp ]
I walked towards the second door.
[ Ding! You've been awarded! ]
[ 90exp, one Novice chest plate ]
[ Level 3 -> 4 ]
[ 60/338 ]
[ one Stat point, 2 skill points ]
I put the stat point into [ Luck ]
[ Luck 5 -> 6 ]
I also looked at the Novice chest plate.
It had leather, cloth and metal as I observed the light armor.

I put on the armor under my jacket and continued walking down the hallway to the doors.
I used my shoulder to opened the doors but they didn't budge.
" Fuck... don't tell me they have to slide." I cursed as I used one hand to try and open the door and using foot to push it open.
With quick reflex I crossed the door.
I entered another hallway.
" Fuck me!" I curse out loud.
I stood still waiting for the system to show a quest panel or something to show, but nothing.
I took a step forward.
[ Ding!...]
I didn't read the mission, but I saw the floors falling apart.
" Fuck!" I cursed as I quickly ran towards the doors down the hallway.
Carrying the sword and jumping across traps and pits.
Shink!!
Spears shot out of the walls as I kept running and dodging the Spears.
But a spear shot out from the ground, and I slashed it with the sword.
I activated my sharing to see the traps before they could be activated.
I slammed against the doors, and I stabbed the sword between the doors and pried it opened and slammed my shoulder through the doors.
I caught my breath as I leaned against the doors.
[ Rewards: 60xp ]
' Well, that's disappointing.' I thought as I walked down the hallway.
No system panel opened. Nothing except rocks and dirt.
I saw light in distance and another door.
" Another fucking door!" I shouted as I walked up to the door.
I tried to push it open only to fail.
" Fuck!" I cursed as stepped back.
' Telekinesis!' I thought as j put both of my hands on the doors and used my telekinesis on the door to push it open.
" Come on! Come on!" I shouted as I continued to push.
The door started creaking before I felt the doors moving little by little.
A purple light shone through the gates as it started becoming more brighter.
I quickly grabbed my sword and ram through the gates.
I felt my entire body floating before landing on the ground.
Thud!
[ Ding! Youe entered the tower! ]

I ignored the panels as I looked at the strange thing in front of me.
" Oh my, another visitor." The thing spoke.
I stood up and grabbed my sword and rested it on my shoulder.
I didn't know if it was a monster or something else.
" Welcome to the tower, young man." He shifted his face towards the person.
A kid around my age, but he was shorter than I.
One look told me that this kid is naive, but I felt something. It was like we were the same.
I focused back on the monster.
" I'm Headon, I am the first floors guardian. What are your names?" Headon asked.
The other spoke.
" My name is... The 25th Bam... on the day I was born..." The boy replied.
Headon tapped his chin.
" What a difficult name to say. Well then, I'll call you Bam, boy." Headon spoke as he looked at me.
" And yours?"
" 02491." I replied.
Headon didn't say anything as he kept his stare on me.
" Hmmm." He hummed.
" You can call me Zero." I replied.
" Zero it is then, boy." He nodded.
" So, how did the two of you end up here?" Headon asked still cupping his chin.
Before I could speak, Bam spoke.
" I... I followed a girl here! Didn't a girl with blonde hair go past here?!" He asked.
" A girl with blonde hair- Oh!"
" So you saw her?! Do you know where she went!?" Bam asked.
" Well- That is-" Hwadon paused again.
" Please tell me!! I need to find her!!" Bam Continued.
I sighed as I walked closer to Headon and Bam as I observed the floor.
And as I got close, Headon pointed his staff upward, causing us to flinch as I tightened my grip on the sword.
" All answers are up there. That's all I can tell you. If you want to find your answered or the girl, it's all up there."
I started listening as he explained the tower.
" Whether you are looking for wealth, immortality, absolute power, magical abilities or mysteries, just head up." He spoke.
" All the truth, glory, happiness of the world are all up there. "
" The Tower js such place, but remember young ones. That it is a hard and painful journey. "
Bam and Headon looked at each other as Bam replied.
" I would take any risk... just to see her." He replied with such conviction.
' Those eyes.... he isn't lying.' I thought as I looked at Bam.
" You really care for this woman, huh?" I asked.
Bam nodded with a serious face.
" Yes. She's..." Before he could finish Headon interrupted us.
" Excellent! I like your resolve. Then let's do a test to see if you are qualified to climb the tower." Headon spoke.
' Test? Tsk!'
Headon started explaining of taking a test to pass each floor.
And for this first floor.
It was to pass a giant fish and pop that black ball in the distance.
' Maybe I shouldn't let him go first.' My instincts of protecting the weak were still in me.
Even if I try to run from that past, it still runs inside of me.
" Bam!" I grabbed his shoulder, stopping him as he looked at me.
But soon, our attention was diverted to a foot that landed on Bams head.
' A foot?' I thought as I stepped back.
