We walked down another spiral stair case and enter a room which looked just like the previous one we were just in. The only difference is that it looks a little more unkept with grass and mold on the sides of the walls and ceiling.
"Guess this dungeon doesn't have any markers or anything to tell you where you are. We could get lost really easily down here." I commentated on the lack of landmarks or arrows around this area. Who would build a gigantic underground structure without a sign telling you where you are at any moment. so far it seems to go from left to right, but that could change at any moment.
Blood Stalk stopped and looks at the wall next to the stairs for a moment looking around.
"Yeh, do you think it's possible to take out one of the Hibiki paint can?" I said thinking of something fun to do while were here.
"Yes..." Blood Stalk said while revealing a paint can dripping a thick red liquid from the top down. On the side of it was a paint brush with the face of an demon carved into it.
"Lets mark what floor we are on in case we forget. I don't think whoever owns this place would really care given how its a dungeon and things are growing down here." I said while looking at some moss growing to the side of us. I swear I saw it move a little when I said that.
I take the paint and sticks a brush with the oni symbol in it. The red pain starts to drip as we take it out and it looks almost like blood. I then smear the number two next to the stair case and put a little snake next to it. Nothing to fancy, just two eyes and a forked tongue with a long serpent body.
"Ok, That looks good. reminds me of when I drew pictures on the sidewalk when I was five." I said finishing my vandalizing. Blood Stalk put the paint brush away along with the paint can.
When I heard some cracks in the walls I was expecting some new kind of monster but it was just more of those green goblin looking ones. Only three popped up this time. Blood Stalk took out the blade and sliced all of their heads off.
.
We continued to walk until more monsters showed up. When ever they did it was only the dog headed and green goblin monsters. Just a couple quick shots the the head and stomach then they're die. Sometimes I accidently hit the crystals in their bodies and destroy them which
"Are these the only monsters that come out this place. I imagine it gets pretty boring after a while." I commentated at the lack of variety of monsters we've encountered so far. I mean this place does seem to make infinite monsters so maybe that's the limitation here. Otherwise there would be dragons and other giant monsters rampaging everywhere.
"Hmm..." Blood Stalk responded with what I think is a yes while ripping out another crystal from the monsters corps. I imagine their worth something even if they are just pretty rocks.
"I just realize, who builds a skyscraper above a giant monster making factory? Also, who made this place and called it a dungeon?" I said thinking about the logistics of a building like this and why it was called a dungeon when there had to be better names for it.
Then more monster came out and they were the dog headed one like the first monster we saw here. There were eight that emerged from the ground and I noticed how the ground seemed to fill in after they left the holes.
'I wonder where those lead to.' I thought as I shoot three in the back while Blood Stalk charges in with the steam blade cutting the head's off another three. We then kick one of the corps into the remaining two and I finish them off with two shots to the dome of their heads.
I take a breath before speaking. "Before I forget, I need to put a new bottle in." I said remembering to check on the build tab since there is no danger of a sneak attack for the moment. Blood stalk continued to grab the crystal, completely covering our left hand in blood.
.
I click on the gear to open the rider system and click on the Build tab. There were many smash bottles of different colors, Two yellow, five blue, three green, one orange, purple, brown and grey bottle.14 bottles in total.
"Hey, which bottle should we add next?" I asked since the Kuuga incident shouldn't count and I wanted to have their input on these things.
"Then... this." Blood Stalk said while pointing to the grey bottle after collecting the crystals. I look at their hand and see tones of cuts and blood on the hand. I hope it just monster blood and not theirs.
"Alright, grey it is. To bad theirs no red bottle." I said in a joking manner as we put the bottle into the microwave and the door closes.
"Yes... it would." Was all they said as we started to walk further into the dungeon.
After we put the grey bottle into microwave, I move onto the Hibiki tab to check if there was anything to do. I see a few new blue prints for weapons, there were a pair of symbols, a harp, and a gigantic drum stick the size of which easily dwarfing the other papers hanging on the wall.
Lastly, the trumpet and guitar have a slightly different destine from last time we entered this page.
"Nice, new weapons to make. I feel like the trumpet or the giant gong club would be great additions to our arsenal." I said feeling excited. Blood stalk also seemed to enjoy the idea
I look through and try to make those weapons when I noticed that we had no wood or metal in front of us anymore. "Seems like we ran of wood and the brass instruments need, brass." I said realizing how stupid that made me sound.
As I was talking, something jumps from the ceiling and pins us to the ground. I look up and a big brown lizard is opening its mouth, ready to bit us on the back of the neck. I elbow it in the side but it still wouldn't let go. Suddenly, the ground below us crumbled and we fall down with the lizard still on our back. Bouncing and sliding all across the tube until we land onto solid ground. We landed on our back and the creature finally let go of us.
We were now in some kind of misty area with dead trees sticking out of the ground, some were broken while others were barley holding onto life. The creature went on all four's and swayed from side to side, my best guess is that it's trying to figure us out and go for an attack to the neck like before. We ready ourselves, but instead of going for us it leapt onto the wall to our right then it jumped with its left arm extended aiming at our heart.
Just before the claw connects, we grab the left arm of the lizard monster with our legs and force it it to the ground. After that, we move our right leg over and use our shin to crush the lizards thought. Twisting the nee pad and shin guard into the lizards scaly body. The creatures tail suddenly wraps around our neck along with its hand trying to get us off it. Unfortunately for this beast I shot it's tail of while blood stalk turned the valve on the steam blade.
"Ice Steam! Hehehaha!" The sound played with a slightly different voice and with an new eerie laugh coming from the blade. I don't put much thought in it before Blood Stalk stabs the monster where a heart would normally be and rip out a gem along with tones of blood spraying on us. The monster went limp and started to emit black smoke.
"Nice moves Blood Stalk." I said complementing them on their performance while sticking out our right hand to gather the smoke.
"I... didn't kill it." They asked me out of breath in a frustrated tone.
'What are they talking about?' I questioned since I saw them kill it with the blade just a second ago. They reached in and tried to grab the gem but I see that its damaged and slowly disintegrates like the monster below us.
.
I look up and see the hole we came out of closing and realize we can't go back the way we came. The rocks around us started to shake a little
I then look to the left and see a gigantic silhouette in the distance walking closer. It seemed to be a gigantic pig with cold white eyes staring at us. In its left hand was a giant dead tree breaking apart at the seams.
"Hun, they do have more monsters down here. At least we get to kill some different monsters, right Blood Stalk? " I said felling almost exited at the fight ahead instead of scared.
"I... didn't kill it." They said again but with more anger than before. I still don't get what they mean. If they didn't do it than who could have?
"Wow! How's That For A Rush. Lets do it again." A high pitch voice said before going to a lower tone.
"Who said that?" I said looking around trying to find the source of the sound, but nobody seemed to be around which scared me more than the monster heading for us.
"Congratulations! You Hit The Jackpot. AHHH, And I finally have a voice. Oh, I'm so happy I could sing and cry at the same time." The mysteries voice said while fluctuating the tone from high and happy to a low, almost spiteful cadence.
"Who are you?" I asked while Blood Stalk seemed ready to attack the monster that is looming before us.
"MEEEE! I'm Nothing Special. That's what people want to say about me. But that's not the answer you were looking for." The voice said in a dramatic fashion as the monster ready its club to attack us.
"ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS! Let ME Show You What I Am. Don't mess with THIS Devil!!!"

Meanwhile in the tower
A women is sitting on a red and golden chair looking over the city though freshly delivered glass. She was eating a meal of mostly fruits.
"Did you find them?" Lady Freya asked Otter with an annoyed tone.
"I am afraid not Lady Freya, We do not know how they even left their room without anyone knowing." Otter replied to their Goddess.
"Shame, I wanted to see them off before I go to work, such unfortunate timing." Lady Freya said looking rather sad. This action made everyone in the room incredibly furious, but also tried to take the opportunity to get on their goddesses good side by looking mature.
"And what of the children that were suppose to get them?" Lady Freya said with a mix of disappointment and acceptance.
"They are currently looking for the knight in the dungeon." Otter responded with the same tone as before.
"I should have someone follow them just in case something like this happens in the future. Do you have any suggestions Otter?" Freya asked while cutting up some fruit on a plate.
"Allen would get the job done fastest. If not him, then the Gulliver Brothers would be the next most suitable in my opinion." Otter said after think it over for a few moments.
"Hmmm. Yesss~ . I think Allen would be more fun to send. Tell him to met me by the entrance." Freya said with a smirk on her face while looking off into the distance. As Otter left a piece of silverware falls off the table and sticks into the carpeted floor.
The Goddess pulls the knife from the floor and looks at it.
"Now to find where you have run off to. Though I have a feeling it won't be far." Freya said while looking down on to the floor, seeing a single knife reflecting only her red lips in a soft smile.

Hi,
I'm thinking of making a chapter zero for this book but I don't know if it should be like a side story or in a one shot. On one hand, it should not be nessisary to read something in order to enjoy a different book because that just homework. On the other hand, I think it would be cool to explore the other side of the rider system and delve into the altered history of this world.
.
For now though its on the back burner.
.
Other than that, I had something plan later down the line but I think I'm moving it up now since the dialoge is getting stail and I need something to add more chemistry for our little group thats forming. You will know next chapter.
Thank you chris_akins, VanillaExodia, and parzzibal_3, for the powestones.
Thanks for reading,
Caoi.
