Chapter 38 looking through a broken window
We were escorted to a relatively fancy bedroom with silk looking sheets. The walls were made of polished stone with no additional paint. There was a dresser on the side with a lamp fixture built in with a crystal button. Overall, a relatively normal room.
The only thing that was odd about it was the broken window's around the edge of the room. there were still broken shards hanging from it. I looked out for a brief moment and realize how high we really were.
"Long way down. I honestly didn't have time to think about it when we had to fight that dragon, but I'm glad heights aren't on my list of fears." I said to Blood Stalk as the moved away from the broken windowsill.
"Tired..." Was all they said as the laid on the bed.
"Yeah, its been rough fighting all morning and getting use to all this." I said looking around the mostly barren room.
"I'm going to look at some stuff before I go to sleep." I said to them to which eared me a nod. Maybe they want to see some new stuff too.
"Alright, lets have a quick look to make sure everything's in order." I said pulling out the gun. I clicked on the gear symbol and a black screen appeared but looked as though it was slightly broke. "What the. Why is it broken?" It was as if the screen of a computer was hit with a brick. I tried to click on the diagnostic page and the head which pointed to the face plate. I started pressing buttons until it started to get clearer.
After a long time the screen was finally back to normal. Our left hand then moved across our face and I realize the crack in the visor is gone.
"Few, glad I could fix that." I said feeling relief that the gun didn't break Looking at the other tabs I see two new one on the far left seemed to be flashing.

"Might as well see what's new first from the right." I said looking through the screen.
I wanted to see if anything changed since the last time and Lo an behold there were a few new tabs unlocked.
The tab that I clicked was a golden one with what looked like a crown of spicks extending outwards like a fan.
"Let see, if I remember correctly this one should be Agito." I said since it looked the most .
When I clicked on it there as what appeared to be a ceiling mural which is covered in cracks and lacked any kind of color on it, making it look faded. Ancient paint. It had angle winged monster flying around four Kamen Riders in the center. The main one being Agito. The other three were Gills, G3-X, and Another Agito. There were a few others around the edges, but I couldn't make them out since it looked weathered almost to the point of nonexistence. Only a few hands and wings stretched out could be seen.
I hovered over Agito's image three lights appeared in a line. From left to right it was red, yellow, and blue. In the top left corner there was a single white light. I then hovered over Gills which had the colors green and dark orange appear. Next, I hovered over G3-X which had multiple blue light of various shades fade in and out. And lastly was Another Agito which only had a purple hue shine which was weird since that rider was green.
"Now why are you purple?" I spoke with genuine curiosity because unlike the other riders with had colors that made sense. Another Agito had a color scheme of brown, gold, and dark green. So why was it surrounded by purple. It wasn't just purple, it almost looked familiar. Curiosity took hold of me so I click it.
When I clicked on the purple light around Another Agito and the white light in the corner flew into the purple causing it to shine brightly for a moment before disappearing. Purple paint then started to bleed into certain parts of the mural. Most of it swirled around Another Agito before freezing in place.
I tried to look at any other light, but they wouldn't shine anymore. Sometimes I really don't understand this thing.
"I didn't think I would pick the purple one." I said to myself more than Blood Stalk. I saw out of the corner of my eye Blood Stalk moving our left hand around. They griped the air before letting go over and over again before stopping.
"Why... did you pick it then?" They asked and I didn't really know why. Because it felt familiar. But why did it feel like I saw that color before. I try to think and then I found my answer.
"I don't really know. I guess it kind of reminds me of you." I said thinking about when I looked into their eyes, the first day we meet.
After I said this our body to shake a little. I guess they weren't expecting me to say that.
"Time for the next one." I said trying to move on from the discussion.
The other one which was furthest to the left was a red tab that had an iconic symbol on it. The first symbol of the Heisei generation of riders.
"Kuuga. I'd recognize that symbol anywhere." I said while clicking the page and the screen went black.
"What? What happened? I just fix it." I said in a panic thinking I screwed up somehow and broke it again.
It then had a water droplet fall causing a ripple in the screen. Slowly sunlight started to shine from the ceiling, reveled a hidden chamber with a coffin in the center. The walls had symbols engraved all along the surfaces.
I clicked the coffin in the middle of the tomb the screen slowly moved closer. The sounds of footsteps could be herd echoing from the chamber as it inched.
"These ones are pretty creepy looking. No, maybe somber would be better word. " I said as I could hear some kind of ambient music or something coming from this page.
As the image came to a stop, I could see six symbols on the top of the lid. When I move over the symbols they would start to glow different colors for each. A single lightning bolt shined in the corner of the screen whenever I hovered over any of the symbols.
The first symbol was snake like mark that had blue light shine from it. The one beside it was a symbol that had wings on it glowed green. The engraving below it looked like a giant was collared purple. One that was covered in shadow which made it impossible to see had a yellowish black glint to it. And lastly, the one which had the same symbol as the tab shined red.
"I wonder what this would do?" I said thinking about what this means.
Blood Stalk grunted at all of my questions which made laugh a little.
"Hey, since I've picked the last one, how about we go with the one you pick this time." I suggested to Blood Stalk. They thought for a moment before speaking.
"Red..." Blood Stalk said before raising our left hand to the screen and pressing the red symbol
"I'm surprised that you picked the red one. I thought you might have picked the black and yellow one." I said since they seemed to like the color black more. That was the color of the guitar they made.
"Because... of you." They said which confused me a little.
"Makes... me think... of you." They seemed to clarify which left me speechless and a little touched.
When Blood Stalk clicked on the symbol that shined red and yellow lightning started to flow in and out of the marking. After that was done the other symbols no longer glowed when I hovered over them. I guess that means we did everything I could do here, but what did it do? The screen fluttered for a moment before returning to normal.
The lightning bolt in the corner slowly faded away and the engraving was permanently glowing red. Some small sparks then came from both of our legs, but quickly went away. Steam also started to leak from our belt before dispersing into the air.
Blood Stalk started to scream and breathe heavily while garbing our left side.
"What's wrong?" I asked as they writhed in pain. I clicked on the diagnostic page to see if anything was damaged, but none of the percentages were different or could be clicked on. The only thing that change was that now a circular object was around our waist which seemed to be growing bigger. There heart rate also spiked upward.
I tried to find anything to help but nothing I clicked did anything. As I was searching for anything to stop their pain I clicked on the Agito page again and a white and purple light erupted from our stomach and spread thought our body. Blood Stalk seemed to calm down and started to relax.
"Are you ok?" I asked since they seemed to stop being in pain.
"No..." They said back in exhaustive breaths.
I don't really know how to respond to that so I waited for them to catch their breath before continuing to talk.
"Kuuga's page seems to dangerous to use. None of the others hurt you like this one did." I said in a serious tone. We probably shouldn't use Kuuga's until we figure out why it hurt Blood Stalk like that.
"Ok..." They said after a while.
"For now, I think we should figure out how we got these pages and improve our understanding on this- I don't really know what to call it. Maybe 'weird screen that appears randomly TM'." I said trying to take their mind off of the pain.
"System..." Blood Stalk replied back which sounded a lot better than screen.
"Sure, system works." I said since it does look like some kind of computer interface.
I looked at all of the locked tabs and see what might be a pattern. After Agito was a locked paged followed by Faiz. After that is another locked page then Hibiki.
"If we are going in airing order then the next tab in the line after Agito should be Ryuki and then Blade before Hibiki, but since it is locked I can't know for sure." I said trying to click the next tab which was still locked and nothing happening.
"Airing... order?" Blood Stalk asked confused and more tired than before.
"That's when each series took place. If that is how this thing is organized we could maybe predict what new powers we could get." I explained to them I a simple way since I assume they haven't watched any of the Kamen Rider shows.
"If I am correct, that would make these ones Ryuki, Blade, Kabuto, Den-o, Kiva, Decade, W, OOO, Fourse, Wizard Gaim Drive, Ghost, Ex-aid, Zi-O, Zero-One, Saber, ReVice, Geats, and Gothard,." I said their names while pointing to all of the tabs that were locked.
"Currently we have Kuuga, Agito, Faiz, Hibiki, and Build unlocked. Build was the first and our main source of powers being the full bottles. Hibiki is for making music weapons so fare. Faiz is like buying things in a shop. That leaves Kuuga and Agito being unknown right now. Kuuga being painful and now off limits." I went though what I know about each of the Kamen Rider tabs that we have so far and what they did.
"I'm sure it'll get more complicated from here." I said trying to imagine what tomorrow would bring them.
"If only we could get Ryuki's or Ghost's power's we could sneak into the dungeon. Then we could find my brother, and fight monsters without worry." I said thinking about tomorrow. I would like to leave now but Blood Stalk is exhausted because of everything we did today and even though I think they would go along with me now. Breaking into someplace at night after we just got out of jail wouldn't be the best idea.
Blood Stalk was barley clinging to consciousness.
"Alright, I think that's enough messing around with the system for tonight. Its time for bed." I said while taking one last look at the screen before closing it.
We look outside the broken window and have a relatively peaceful rest.

There is a reason for them getting Kuuga and Agito here.
For Agito, it was because the main insperation for that rider's motife is a dragon. So when they defeated one they unlocked it.
For Kuuga, It was when they defeated the spider bat with fire since Kuuga was suppose to have been reborn in flames fighting the bat kaijin in a church. 'Baptized in flames' if I remember the saying correctly.

I wanted to write down one of my inspirations for making this novel. Ant King In MHA is my main inspiration. I found it before I made an account on this website. I was blown away with the creative fight's and powers. I saw the world through another persons eyes so clearly that I felt like I was in a another world.

New DOOM game trailer just came out and I am hiped for it. I can't believe we got actual game play from it and it has giant meck fights.
