Valerie was momentarily stunned, but Alessia was stupefied for a moment. Godic was good-looking and fierce but had a tired look on his face.

Alessia longed to meet her mate, and now that he was here, her joy knew no bounds, and her wolf was doing a joyful dance.

"I'm Godic, Alpha Denzel's most trusted bodyguard and confidante. I am based in Las Vegas," Godic introduced himself, ready to pull her into his arms before he halted at Alessia's introduction.

"I am Alessia, Beta of this pack, and sister of the Alpha."

She could feel the mate bond so strongly that if not for her injured brother, she would have dragged Godic to her room to begin the mating process.

Godic was speechless. His mate was more beautiful beyond anything he ever imagined, but her birth concerned him greatly.
