It probably should be no surprise that hangovers are super unpleasant … especially when one comes with the mortifying realization of what you've said while drunk.

Harper woke up the next morning with a royal headache, as she vaguely remembered someone warning her of. Clutching the crinkled blanket, she sat up in bed groggily and squeezed her throbbing skull, wondering when or how she managed to get back to her room. Her memories were a blurry haze … How come she thought she never succeeded in opening that difficult door lock? And how come she couldn't recall getting into bed at all?

Then, slowly and horrifyingly, bits and pieces of the previous night began to seep back into her head.
