"No," Harper said hastily, even though his voice didn't hold a trace of judgment. "A girl can figure out how to do it. I've handled challenges much harder than this before, haven't I?"

She took a deep breath and plucked the rubber out of the packet. It was actually slightly embarrassing that she had never held a condom in her hand until now … but at the same time, she was glad that her first experience got to be on such a special occasion. On a special day, with a special person, which made it much more than just another challenge or "lesson".
