Capítulo 107: Fiery Macabre

The night in the Holy Aquarist Forest was unsettling with the presence of monsters. The sounds of unknown creatures, the cold wind, and the pervasive darkness were elements humans naturally avoided.

On this particular night, with the full moon, the monsters were even more active and those that rarely appeared had come out of their nests.

But the Ashbourne family seemed unfazed as they strolled casually through the forest. The only sound accompanying them was the rustle of their footsteps against the grass and sometimes the wailing of something they didn't know.

"Is it still far away?"

Seren asked, sighing. She held her phone, hoping to document and post something interesting on her Utube account, but so far, the journey had been uneventful.

"Shhh... Don't ruin the surprise, Seren. It's a present for your mom!" Cassius whispered, trying to maintain the excitement.

"I think she can hear you, Dad," Lucien remarked, yawning.
