Capítulo 89: Storage Room

"Just visit him, alright?" Amane said, pointing at Auden, who gestured for them to follow.

The "refrigerator" was close to the vegetable storage area, near the agricultural section of the village. The place was a huge barn.

There were two other smaller buildings nearby: a smokehouse for preserving cured meat and fish, and a third building not far away.

They opened the third building, recently repaired with concrete. Inside, it was full of racks for hanging meat and storage spaces.

Zane was already there, inspecting the place. Auden patted his shoulder, making him jump and turn around.

"Ugh... you startled me," he sighed.

He looked like a mess. His eyes were shadowed with dark circles, his clothes were disheveled, and his hair was a tangled mess.

"What happened to you?" Lucien raised an eyebrow.
