He said to Ming Mei, "An old buddy of mine wants to play some chess with me. We haven't seen each other for a while, and seeing as he's gone out of his way to invite me, it wouldn't be good for me to refuse. You'll be fine alone here, won't you?"

Ming Mei shook her head, "Of course, I'll be fine. You go ahead. Will you be back tonight?"

The old master chuckled, "Knowing that guy, he's a relentless player. He'll probably hassle me to the point that I can't come back."

"Alright then, if you don't plan to return, give me a call."

"Sure, you go rest up first."
