This time, It wasn't a sweet kiss or the calming sounds of the wave that had Kruxe's eyes which had been closed for quite some time blinking open.

The sounds of crowds of people moving about, the neighs of horses and squeaks of heels dully reached Kruxe's ears, but none of this stirred him to sit up.

Instead, the boy stayed lying on the bed he was on, gazing at one of the chief causes of him waking up.

"A horse or a dragon," Kruxe thought as he looked at the thick wad of smoke that floated above him.

Where a ceiling should have been, all Kruxe could see was white smoke drifting about, and after entertaining himself with it for a few seconds, he moved his attention to the mysterious existence within him.

Hearing this answer, Kruxe ever so slowly turned his head to the right and stared at the man who was rigorously puffing out smoke like his life depended on it.
