Killian was taken aback. 

Amara was marrying Cassius? Why?

What was doing in the Kingdom of Arathorn? What about the man she had followed? Was he really going to let her marry someone else again? What could she possibly want from Cassius to make that choice?

Disgust and hatred filled his heart when he thought just as she married him and betrayed him, she would do the same for another man. He felt repulsed and angry, knowing that she was his, yet recognizing that she did not belong to him.

The mere thought of someone else touching her or marrying her was revolting. However, he failed to comprehend why she was willing to do so much for a man who did not love her. Did she truly love that man to the extent that she was willing to cross all boundaries and do anything to please him?

Her loyalty and love for another man tormented his soul.
