My heart throbbed in my chest, echoing like a war drum, as I stood immobilized at the entrance of the grand hall. My hands gripped the silky fabric of my gown, my nerves tingling with an unexplainable dread. 

"Your Highness, is everything alright?" Lily, my maid, whispered softly in my ear. 

I shook my head, trying to shake off the strange feeling that had been plaguing me all day. Taking a deep breath, I stepped inside the hall. It was a sight to behold. The royal hall looked even better in the evening than it looked in the morning. 

When I entered, I was immediately drawn to the magnificent decorations that adorned the hall. The walls were draped in rich, velvety fabrics, and the ceiling was adorned with intricate, golden patterns. The nobles, dressed in their finest attire, were chatting and drinking, their laughter echoing throughout the room.
