After the fight with Arias, Mashelle, who had to be carried off the stage, was immediately disqualified from the next round. With several bones broken and a battered body which would be difficult to reach full recovery even in a month’s time, there was no way he could have continued fighting. The young man was not even capable of standing. As such, he automatically ended up in fifth place.

While Mashelle’s external injuries and broken bones were in a critical state, there were still ways to heal them back to normal. Unless it was death or the loss of an organ, there was always a cure to be found in this magic world. The truly difficult thing to bring back to normal was the life force that Mashelle had burned during the match. The action had had Mashelle’s lifespan shortened for several years, and his power level had now regressed to the sixth level of acolyte.
