Capítulo 148: Eyes and Ears

Cara Silvia has been a thorn in my side since we were young.

She was younger than me by a year and older than my wife. 

My mother and hers were friends. They knew my Grandfather didn't approve of their friendship but they defied his orders.

Fortunately for me, I met my Lili before they even got it in their heads to set us up. The moment I laid my eyes on Lili that was it, no other woman would be my wife, it was her or no one else.

I was probably ten when I first saw Lili and she was six or seven, she was hanging around my cousin and when I learned she had a male cousin too I befriended him.

Lex knew from the start why I approached him and has not let it go until today.

"She was at home yesterday," Lili said as she looked at me, concerned.

"Well, I can't marry her," I chuckled as I raised my hand. "Kinda married already. She's amazing by the way."

Lili blushed as I laughed at her expense.
