— Alexander POV —
I sat across from my wife holding her hand and gently stroking her wedding ring with my thumb.
"You can take off your disguise now," I chuckled.
As much as I enjoyed tormenting the press with the disappointment of my wife hiding her features, I still wanted to see Lilith's beautiful face.
She sighed and tried to pull her hand away from mine, but I held her tighter.
"Alexander, I need both hands," she grumbled.
"No, you don't." Chuckling I shook my head as she gave me a frustrated glare.
She didn't argue any further, she simply sighed and took off the glasses and face mask, revealing the much better sight of her plain face.
I preferred her like this, unadorned with makeup, she honestly didn't need it. To me she was perfect as she was, she always had been.
"That's a better sight." I smiled.
