Capítulo 102: Him

— Lilith POV —

I sat anxiously as the hospital staff wheeled in the ultrasound machine into my VIP room.

Alexander and everyone close enough to me knew I was married or at least I thought I was married before I came back. 

They had to know that I was with Jason every way that a wife was with her husband. It was nothing compared to when I had sex with Alexander, but I did try.

Jason had been so obsessed at the start in his attempt to get me pregnant that he even had me go to fertility doctors. We even met with spiritual doctors to see if it was something beyond the medical issues, but there never seemed to be anything wrong. 

Despite all our attempts, however, I never conceived. 

Thinking back it was probably because of all the blood being drawn from me or all the operations I had to under go. 

Either way, now that my body was well rested and better taken care of, it seemed that I could have a child.
