Capítulo 95: Naive Girl

Turning to my ex, I walked back to him, behind me Alexi moved closer.

I knew what he was doing, he didn't want to give Jason a chance to attack me. 

"Sucks to hear that your greatest gold mine would have simply been loving me, isn't it?" I asked Jason as I looked down at him.

He glared at me, I couldn't read what he was thinking.

"Grandpa Luther had a deal with my wife, did you know that?" Alexander said as he wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me close. 

The room stood still as everyone waited for him to speak. 

"All she had to do was stay married to your sorry ass for five years and she could access her fortune and everything that belongs to her," he said.

Grandpa knew that there was something off about Jason, he told me there was something wrong with the man but I refused to listen. I was so stubborn that I accused him of being an elitist prick.
