"It's done," Lex told me over the phone. 

"Did you have to tell them who I was?" I asked my cousin as Cassandra and I walked through the streets back to the office.

"I just insinuated that one of you was a Durfort," he explained. "Hopefully both of you become Durforts."

I laughed at what he added.

"You've got it hard, huh?" I asked him as Cassandra gave me a confused look.

I was fairly certain that she already suspected that we were talking about her. 

"I do," my cousin confirmed. "You know me Lili. I've dated a lot, but it's never been like this."

"Yeah, yeah," I said as I pretended to be disinterested. 

"I'm sure you want to know more," he teased.

"You'll tell me, eventually," I pointed out. 

"When you visit," he said. "Get back to the office safe, I'll see you when you return."
