Capítulo 64: He Isn’t Lying

— Lilith's POV —

I sat behind my desk, my attention shifting between the documents I was investigating and the door to Lex's office.

It's been twenty minutes since I made Cassandra and Lex talk about their feelings, but nothing happened.

No one came in or out of the room.

I hoped it was a good sign. Maybe they were making out or having sex. Though knowing my cousin he would wait till Cassandra had moved teams. 

Focusing on the document before me, I noticed how the PR department had to regularly cover up some labor cases for Velaris Corp. 

Velaris was a company under Durfort Inc. that was run by one of my uncles once removed, children of my Grandfather's siblings.

The Durforts liked to keep leadership in the family, but it was an idea I had come to question over the years.
