That evening, Talon decided to cook fried rice once more. It had been a week since he last made it, not since he prepared it for his team. Despite everyone already having eaten dinner, Yuki had requested it and Talon happily obliged. Plus, they always had small portions for dinner, so there was still room for some fried rice. He ended up making three portions, just as he had promised Crystal and Yuki.

Talon placed the plates of freshly cooked fried rice before Crystal and Yuki, their eager faces illuminated by the flickering light of the campfire.

"This smells amazing, Talon," Crystal commented as she took her first scope. Her eyes lit up with approval. "You've really outdone yourself this time."

Yuki eagerly forked a mouthful, her expression turning blissful. "I've missed your cooking, Talon-san."

Talon sat down beside them, his plate steaming in the cool night air. "I'm glad you both enjoy it."
