Capítulo 3166: Chapter 2314: Gotham Music Festival (16)_1

Lucifer didn't go to the Bat Restaurant for dinner because his bar was also busy during dinner time. It was arranged that after Shiller's dinner, he and Victor would join Lucifer at the bar for a little gathering. However, Jason wanted to go night fishing, so Shiller's party changed their plans last minute, but they didn't forget to inform Lucifer.

Upon receiving Shiller's call, Lucifer felt a bit disappointed, but he wasn't planning to come over to entertain the guests who would soon arrive.

But he somewhat overestimated the traffic of Gotham. It wasn't that Gotham didn't have many tourists, but Lucifer's bar only served supernatural creatures, and right now, the most supernatural things in all of Gotham were the seagulls overhead and The Squid underfoot—neither of which would obviously be drinking at Lucifer's bar.

Lucifer called Wheat for an update and got a cold response, but what Wheat said wasn't without reason. Would you, as Satan, want to come to Gotham? If even you don't want to, who else would?

So, bored out of his mind, Lucifer waited at the bar for a while until he couldn't take it anymore. He glanced over and saw that Shiller and his crew were stuck in traffic, and the yacht hadn't departed yet. If he went now, he should be able to catch up just in time.

And so, it was an Angelic arrival by Lucifer, except the next second, Shiller pounced on him, yanking away not just one, but a handful of his feathers.

However, this time, unlike the last, it wasn't real feathers that were plucked but some of Lucifer's energy, which gave him quite the scare, mainly because it reawakened his childhood trauma.

He wouldn't admit how much he glossed over the process when he introduced himself to the current Shiller. After all, all the Russian swear words Lucifer knew were learned during that period.

Lucifer was so stunned when Shiller tackled him that he temporarily forgot he could flap his wings like a moth to take off from the ground. But he knew if he kept letting Shiller pin him down, he would end up with hardly any feathers left. Therefore, he powered up one wing and with a strong flap, he flipped Shiller to his side.

Just as he was about to get up, Shiller grabbed his other wing and yanked hard. Lucifer nearly got thrown into the sea. Flinging his other wing and grasping the tip, he tried to wrestle it back from Shiller's grip.

The others, watching them tussle, were even more confused. Lucifer had barely touched the ground when Shiller knocked him over. Many hadn't had the chance to see who he was clearly, merely thinking God had finally had enough of Shiller's antics and had decided to send an Angel to discipline him.

But if you're going to send one, send someone stronger. How could he fall as soon as he landed? Was he here to scam us?

When they finally realized it was Lucifer, those nearby hurriedly rushed forward to pull the two scuffling figures apart. Lucifer's feathers littered the ground, and Shiller was coughing from the irritation.

"What the hell?!" Lucifer yelled angrily. "If you didn't want to invite me, just say so, you..."

"Didn't you notice he's not lucid?" Natasha said with a touch of exasperation, supporting Shiller: "This is our universe's Shiller; he's supposed to be asleep. I'll take him back."

Lucifer squinted and saw that Shiller's eyes were tightly shut. Only then did he realize he was attempting to fight with a sleepwalker and simply waved his hand, saying, "Go on, I had no idea Shiller goes to bed this early."

Natasha helped Shiller towards the cabin, while the rest scattered about the deck—some drinking and chatting, others preparing fishing gear, and a few setting up a table for poker. They had turned the luxurious liner into a street-side food stall.

But that was also because the luxury liner was branded a sea-bound city due to its immense size. To fully open it for use required preparation time. It was originally resting at the port with entertainment venues closed. To restart everything would take at least half an hour of prep time.

Harley saw on the map outside that this vessel had a water park on board, and she clamored to go play. The younger children were led by Bruce to change into their swimsuits.

Bruce and Selina took the children into the water park, only to find it enormous, almost rivalling land-based aquatic fun parks. The worrying part was that the kids were hard to spot once they scattered inside, and it could be dangerous.

The most dangerous aspect was the multitude of children's slides, and Aisha was already gnawing her teeth. If anyone was mid-slide and Aisha nibbled on it, that would spell trouble.

The only solution Selina could think of was to have Little Barry guard Aisha exclusively, and then pull The Flash from the Prime Universe to closely watch the other children.

When The Flash came over, he ran into Red hood who figured that since he had nothing better to do, he might as well go for a swim. Since the pool and water park were adjacent, he decided to call Red Robin and Nightwing over.

The two were trying to avoid Batman and looking for some drinks. Hearing there was a bar near the pool, they went right over without a second thought.

As they walked over, high-spirited, they ran into Gwen Spiderman. She and Nightwing had hit it off during dinner, and after learning about the water park and pool on the yacht, it wasn't long before all the Spider-Men swarmed into the water park.

Now, Bruce and Selina's headache about safety was relieved. With a Spider-Man for each swimming ring, their screams of joy while sliding down the water slides were everywhere, and the children were sandwiched safely in the queues. They were incredibly secure, but the looks of worry on Bruce and Selina's faces made them laugh like two huskies.

Three or more Spider-Men are the best party starters on this planet, and if there are five, they can turn any place into a party hotspot. But with more than ten, that place is guaranteed to become the liveliest spot on Earth.

Cruise ships are known as floating cities, and the water park on board is incredibly luxurious. With more than a dozen types of water slides, winding and twisting like dragons, they're not the kind that most people would imagine for kids to play on.

Some slides are nearly vertical at 90 degrees, creating a sense of weightlessness that's even greater than on most roller coasters. Some slides require two people to ride together, twisting and turning along the way, while others allow guests to form a circle and swing high inside a huge, trumpet-shaped slide.

The Spider-Men generally aren't afraid of these since swinging through the New York sky isn't exactly safer, but they still had a blast. The tops of ladders and railings of the slides were covered with a mix of red and blue figures.

While the slides are great, sliding the same way can get a bit monotonous after once or twice. So, the Spider-Men picked up toy water guns prepared nearby and began a massive water gun fight.

Playing with water guns is not like how kids would run around in a pool. They would swing from the ceiling with a shot of Spider Silk, whooshing through the air in a parabola, taking up water guns and spraying a few shots at their airborne companions, sending them plummeting to the other side.

Some perched on pillars, the sides of slides, or in the corners of walls, aiming and watching. Anytime they spotted someone poking out, they'd shoot them in the face, leaving their opponents squinting through the water.

Some were even more cunning, especially Peter from the Schiller Universe, who used the water park's unique overhead buckets to douse unsuspecting Spider-Men below, thoroughly soaking them and, unsurprisingly, earning the most vigorous attacks from other Spider-Men.

When the Spider-Men got knocked out of the sky, they didn't just fall straight to the ground. They were too experienced for that. If one Spider Silk thread broke, they'd simply reach out to stick to the nearest wall with a smack, then crawl down it effortlessly.

The water park is semi-enclosed, situated within a space inside the cabin, but separated from the deck swimming pool by only a glass curtain wall. Hence, Jason and Nightwing, who were lounging in chairs drinking beer by the pool, heard a thud behind them, one Spider-Man down, another thud, another Spider-Man down.

The first thump startled them, as they thought Batman had come after them. Relieved to discover it was the Spider-Men, they soon realized they had relaxed too soon.

A large group of Spider-Men can turn anything into chaos. When Peter's sneak attack angered the crowd, five or six Spider-Men chased him all over. Peter, not very good at street fighting, was jumping up and down in desperation.

He shot a strand of Spider Silk to the ceiling, and Gwen immediately revealed a mischievous smile. She secretly poured some Spider Silk solvent into her water gun's cartridge and shot a direct hit at the strand Peter had just fired.

Peter's Spider-sense gave a slight warning, and a feeling of weightlessness followed. Instinct kicked in, and he somersaulted in mid-air, launching another strand of Spider Silk at the glass curtain wall, quickly heading towards it.

But when he hit the glass, a pointed angle on his Spider Silk Launcher happened to knock against a corner of the glass. Most people probably understood the principle of glass breakers, which strike the glass at its weakest point. With such a collision, the glass shattered with a crash.

Of course, this sheet of glass was quite far from where Red Hood and Nightwing were laying; it didn't hit them, but the sudden noise still gave them a fright. Seeing someone crash through and fall to the ground, they instinctively rushed over.

Now that was a disaster. The chasing Spider-Men clearly took advantage of Peter's fall, knowing that no amount of shattered glass would penetrate any Spider-Man's battlesuit, so they just held up their water guns and sprayed fiercely.

Red Hood and Nightwing, who had just arrived, were still trying to understand the situation when they were doused, running for cover with their hands over their heads, completely soaked without having changed into swimwear.

But Red Hood isn't someone easy to provoke, right? Gothamites have nothing if not a wealth of gunfighting experience, and Red Hood's street shooting skills are among the most extensive, possibly even more so than Batman's.

All it took was a smooth roll from him, and during the roll, he picked up Peter's water gun that had fallen to the ground. After sizing up its weight and estimating the amount of ammunition, he ducked behind the bar counter and rose to shoot down Gwen Spiderman and Miles, positioned closest to him. He then lowered his center of gravity and rushed to the opening, using one shot to knock down Riley and another to take down the Amazing Spiderman.

The Spider-Men inside, realizing they were at a disadvantage, swung over with their water guns, covering the breach with their firepower. Red Hood was pushed back, unable to show his face.

Nightwing was quick to seize Miles's water gun that he had just taken down and used it to provide covering fire from the side, barely holding the breach in cooperation with Red Hood.

Wanda, hearing that Aisha was in the water park, came to look for her. The Scarlet Witch was delighted at the thought of finally seeing the little shark play in the water, maybe even sliding down the slides with her. However, she saw Aisha darting past numerous Spider-Men, knocking Nightwing down with a rocket-header.

"Whose side are you on?!!" Red Hood shouted angrily.

Upon closer inspection, the group was fighting over a pile of glass shards with water guns. Wanda's eyes flashed red, and all the tiny glass pieces on the ground turned to dust in an instant.

But by then, the battle was in full swing. Robin from the Schiller Universe arrived with the rest, and Jason gestured towards Aisha, "Aisha! Over here!"

Aisha, who had just figured out who her allies were, instantly turned and knocked down Gwen Spiderman, who had just stood up, with another headbutt.

"Well done!!!"
