Capítulo 2861: Chapter 2046: Igniting the Dream in the Heart (39)_1

With T'Challa's narration, an ancient tale that resembled the beginning of a legendary movie was revealed, unfolding before everyone's eyes.

Many years ago, a standout among a young civilization nervously sent out their first call to the vast unknown world.

Luckily, they received a response, proving that they weren't alone. To their pleasant surprise, the other party extended an olive branch and expressed a desire to visit their planet.

That standout from the civilization was Wakanda, and the one who responded was the Galactic Council.

T'Challa's tone gradually sank as he said, "Back then, our spacecraft couldn't fly very far. We agreed to use Mars as a temporary port and flew our ship to meet them."

"When they first boarded, we thought their attitude was a bit odd, but we figured it was just their unique way of showing respect and we welcomed them warmly anyway."

"We initially thought they'd be interested in our customs and culture. We prepared numerous historical artifacts from human civilization for them to study, but oddly enough, they were most interested in the scientific achievements of the Wakanda Royal Research Institute. This puzzled us."

"Aren't they supposed to be a more advanced civilization than ours? They could travel across light-years in a spaceship. Why would they be interested in our technology?"

"But we thought they were just curious about the progression of our technology, so we went on to give them a detailed introduction to the scientific achievements displayed at the Wakanda Royal Research Institute."

"Of course, it would inevitably lead to Vibranium."

Becoming increasingly solemn, even somewhat resentful, T'Challa continued in detail.

"The reason Wakanda's technology is ahead of other countries is not because we are smarter or stronger than other humans. The teachings of God only provide us with guidance. What really puts us in the lead is a meteor that brought us God's gold—a.k.a., Vibranium—thousands of years ago."

The Celestials glanced at each other, and both the Searcher and the Collector nodded at the Inspector, apparently knowing about this metal and the meteor incident.

T'Challa was slightly relieved, as the Celestials' reactions showed him that Vibranium must be a rare metal in the cosmos, or else it would not have caught the attention of these giants.

Then he continued, "The other party inevitably became interested in Vibranium and requested to see our mine."

"At that time, our interaction with extraterrestrials was limited and we still did not know the value of the metal we possessed, so we warmly welcomed them to inspect our mine."

"But unexpectedly, this exchange trip ended abruptly, as if the other party had something urgent to attend to."

"Although we felt somewhat disappointed, we didn't think too much of it. But twenty days later, the largest royal mine owned by Wakanda experienced the most severe theft in history."

Strange caused the documents T'Challa brought to float with magic. Everyone in the field saw the records at the same time, which included testimonies from the security staff at the time, witness transcripts, and some backups from the investigation that followed.

"Another night with meteors." T'Challa sighed, "Many Wakandans took it as a romantic sign, harboring unrealistic hopes for the night sky. But in reality, that was not a meteor at all. The truth was much crueler."

"The alien race who contacted us had been coveting this rare metal. They had been observing the meteor that brought Vibranium for a long time but couldn't locate the exact crash site until we walked right into their trap."

"For some reasons, they did not dare to blatantly invade with a fleet." T'Challa turned to Odin, who snorted coldly and said, "Even with twice their courage, they wouldn't dare."

The Celestials obviously knew Odin. Although they didn't think he could withstand them, they had to admit that Odin was indeed a standout among ordinary beings.

Although Odin did not win completely at first, he managed to confront the Celestials, which was already quite exceptional. It illustrated his magnitude, which was something not easily compensated by power alone.

"They created a type of mini flying craft, or rather, a capsule that didn't emit any signals, which was launched from outside the Nine Major Kingdoms towards Earth, landing in Wakanda."

T'Challa collected his thoughts and went on, "An alien squad sneaked into the Vibranium mine and stole a large amount of Vibranium. Unfortunately, the vehicle they arrived in was not a regular spaceship and was incapable of transporting such a large chunk of metal."

"But they had anticipated this issue. They stole a Wakandan spaceship and used it to transport away the stolen ore along with them from Earth."

T'Challa's gaze fell on the spaceship and said, "This is the spaceship stolen from us that year. And the civilization that contacted us was none other than Spartax."

Jason widened his eyes. Now, he could think of only one thing to say, which was accusing T'Challa of slander. But he keenly caught a loophole in T'Challa's words and said,

"The incident you're talking about should have happened long ago, right? But we've only joined the Galactic Council in the past decade."

"But you knew about the Galactic Council before this decade." Stark interrupted him, "It's like when robbers disguise themselves as security guards for a stroll before a theft, as it provides them with an excellent excuse to know their target better."

"If you hadn't claimed to be the leaders of the galaxy, who would have let their guard down and simply allowed an alien civilization to visit their home? This is obviously a scam!"

Jason was choked again.

However, he was a bit baffled because, before his ascension, Spartax had indeed undergone the greatest civil war in its history. Otherwise, how was he kicked out?

Wait a minute, could it be that the Spartacus faction came up with some dirty trick back then to amass wealth or craft weapons using vibranium?

It's not impossible. Jason knew too well the crowd he usually deals with, and he knew better the kind of people his fathers were. Generation after generation were ambitious. Cheating the newcomers' civilization by flaunting their power and strength wasn't beneath them.

But, of course, Jason wouldn't admit it, so he immediately said, "This is a story you've conjured up. We've never had any contact with Earth. You say we stole the vibranium, but I've never seen such a metal."

He had calculated that T'Challa might want to search the Sparta Star, but by common sense, it would be unlikely that any empire would approve of such an investigation, so he wouldn't agree, and from a moral point of view, there was nothing wrong either.

His prediction was accurate, T'Challa indeed proposed that the vibranium stolen at that time must be on the Sparta Star, and Jason must cooperate with the search. Jason wouldn't agree, so the two became deadlocked.

But then Shiller spoke.

"I believe you all have missed the point. Where the metal ended up isn't crucial. The important thing is a certain terrifying plague."

The Heavenly Gods Group turned to look at Shiller, they had heard of Shiller's name but had never seen this form of him.

Shiller hardly ever showed himself in full form of grey mist, so this guise could trick the aliens who had only heard of his name,

The Heavenly Gods Group didn't much care about the distinctive form of the Nameless Fog. Earth always produced strange occurrences, and a phenomenon that was strangely non-human wasn't surprising. They already had quite a few.

However, Shiller's proposed view deeply resonated with them. Whatever racial resentment or direction of the metal, these were not the critical issues. They were there to find out about the bug.

Shiller then began to speak.

"From my point of view, the situation goes like this—I must first inform you all of an unfortunate fact. Truly, the source of an epidemic is hiding within Earth, right there inside its core—a type of unhatched bug."

All of the Heavenly Gods Group's attention was drawn by Shiller, and the Inspector asked, "How did you know?"

His question indirectly confirmed the truthfulness of Shiller's statement, because all of the Celestials knew how much disaster the Cosmic Locust had brought upon them.

"My existence form is quite unique," the grey fog rippled for a moment before continuing, "I can fully penetrate the Earth, observing structures under its crust that are beyond human observation. Nothing on earth can escape from me, and those bugs are no exception."

"I presume you already knew the bugs exist but you were unaware that the hollow cavity where the bug eggs cluster is located directly below the African Continent on Earth, which is the exact location below the vibranium mine in Wakanda."

Shiller was vague in his explanation, leading others to believe that the vibranium veins in Wakanda were indeed connected to the hollow space where the bug eggs were located. The Heavenly Gods Group knew a lot, but they did not have an understanding of such details. Consequently, they believed it as well.

"But we've been mining for so many years and have never seen any bugs," T'Challa said with a hint of incredulity.

"Indeed, your technology is incapable of penetrating the exterior wall of the cavity." The grey fog rippled again before continuing, "Even your sharpest drills cannot break through the barrier made of bug egg mucus. The advancement of human civilization in the study of materials is far from sufficient for you to break through it."

Shiller was telling the truth on this point. There indeed was a barrier in the bug egg's cavity, one that humans could not break through. Even drills made out of vibranium and molten steel would not work. At their current rate of progress, mechanical engineering and materials science would need another two to three hundred years to potentially succeed.

Then again, Earth has an abundance of strange wonders. The symbionts can overcome any physical barrier— if the symbiotic factor can penetrate inside, then they can find a way to bring whatever is inside out.

The Heavenly Gods Group made no objection to this claim because they were aware of the power of these bugs, and they also knew how weak humans were.

What's more important is they knew how reckless humans could be. If humans managed to drill open that place, what they would be facing now would be the Locust God.

"And the only ones with the potential and abilities to break this barrier are those aliens who've entered the vibranium veins."

With Shiller's words, Jason was stunned for a second, then in an instance, the cold sweat soaked through his entire body.

On a moral basis, indeed, nobody should have the right to search another civilization's primary planet, but do these large Celestials above them seem to conduct their affairs on moral grounds?

The inspector spoke in a heavy tone.

"Notify the Adjudicator to prepare for a full adjudication operation on this star's field. Ensure that no possible epidemic hiding spot is overlooked."

"Wait!!!" Jason shrieked.

Suddenly, all of the Celestials targeted Jason with their lethal stares. The power on their weapons started to blink. When a race's survival was at stake, there were no principles that could not be broken.

Jason began to frantically press the communicator on his arm, shouting into it, "Call the council, call the council, Spartacus is being invaded, requesting support! Requesting support!!!"

"This is Galactic Council Communication Headquarters, we are currently being... Don't let them in! Those guys yelling something about 'May the Force be with.... bang! Boom! ... Ahh!!!"
