'What are you doing?' Grace asked Delilah when she saw her resolute eyes as she ascended the stairs.

'What do you think I am doing? I am going back to the room,' Delilah answered and she was about to enter her room when she paused.

'I mean, are you not going to talk to Zephyr? You didn't actually leave on a pretty good note,' Grace said.

Though she has always felt carefree, it wasn't untrue that Orion was her mate too and she felt a little bad for him.

'Hmm, I was hoping to meet him in the morning, but I guess you are right. I shouldn't delay things. An apology shouldn't be delayed,' Delilah said before she stood outside Zephyr's room.
