Delilah walked back into the venue with the elder Prince, her gaze cold as she looked around at all the members of her pack and her so-called family.

"Delilah, oh sweetheart, you really had us there. What was it? Why did you suddenly fall unconscious? We were so worried," Jazmine said.

Delilah looked into the lady's eyes before furrowing her brows.

"Were you? It was funny how the entire family and the pack were worried about me but no one bothered to stay with me. Rather a person who I met only a couple of days ago was waiting for me to wake up," Delilah said, her sarcastic words appearing like a slap to the alpha and Luna.

The fake smile on Jasmine's face started to falter.

"Oh my, why would you say such words, Delilah? It was because of Michael's news that we had to leave," Jazmine grabbed Delilah's hand, smiling pretentiously before she stepped forward and looked straight into the girl's eyes.
