After the gruesome stretching and strength building for one hour, Maximus finally let go of Katherine and looked straight into her eyes.

"I think that would be enough for the first day of your training. Take a long hot shower or bath to relax your sore muscles. I will ask one of the maids to give you a massage," Maximus said nonchalantly while looking at his watch.

Katherine nodded, breathing heavily.

"So...uhh... I am free to go now?" Katherine asked with a hint of hesitation in her eyes.

Maximus raised his gaze to look at her, his lips curling in a smirk.

"Why? Do you want to stay, little Kitten? I was going to take a shower before resorting to my office. Don't tell me you want to join me. Have we become this close already?" He asked.

Katherine's eyes widened at his insinuation.

She felt her ears turning red before she huffed and turned her head.
