Capítulo 50: New Neighbour

Zain exchanged greetings with Lucas. The mercenary introduced the woman to him.

"She is Hanna. Our new recruit." 

"New member? I thought you guys were about to go under."

"F*ck you, bastard."

The two laughed, making silly talks.

Zain turned to Hanna. He had never seen the woman, but for some reason, she felt familiar.

"Nice to meet you, Miss Hanna. I'm John Smith, a Grade 3 Genius and a porter. You can call me if you need help for a portal raid."

"Look at this guy, still talking so formally." Lucas teased Zain, who ignored him.

Staring at Zain, Hanna posed a blunt question.

"Can you store living beings in your subspace?"

"..."

"..."

Zain would have flinched if not for his Eternal Smile Disposition. Her question was too direct to be a coincidence.
