Eva saw a cab rolling in to a halt. It stopped at a distance behind the patrol cars that entered the school premises. No one got off. Eva had to step in. She was talking to the newly arrived police officers about the things they were about to do—search for the girl. She briefed them and shared the picture of the girl with them.

“Guys! Please, officer Babak is waiting for you. I will join you shortly after I talk to the cab driver and passenger, okay?" The officers nodded and went in the direction of Babak Rostam. Eva now pointed her attention to the cab.

The cab driver was hesitating to move forward. Janis was trying to understand what was happening. But in this rain, there wasn’t much she could do from inside the cab.
