Long ago when the four main Sanctuaries were first built for each of the species, they were built around ruins of the past symbolizing their species.

These ruins were deemed to be sacred, and different types of lore developed behind each of them.

Some Sanctuaries decided they were the signs of the Gods.

Others believed it was an ancient ancestor, and they would have been right.

However, the belief that they all shared was this: The ruins were to be kept preserved.

These ruins in the center of each Sanctuary, either locked underground in one Sanctuary or displayed for all to see in the next, suddenly illuminated in a glorious light.
