Capítulo 58: PENT-UP ANGER

Fiona shrank into her seat at the sound of Rowan's voice. The confident devious lady that I was ready to face wasn't in front of me anymore. What I saw was a shell of her. Abruptly, I turned to face Rowan. "What did you do to her?" I asked, horrified at what must have transpired between Rowan and Fiona.

Knowing how Rowan was, I knew he was a dangerous man to mess with. His threats were more like promises and he was the type to act than speak.

" Nothing." Rowan raised both hands in surrender like he was innocent. "What makes you think I did something to her? Hmm?" He threw back a question at me, feigning innocence. I knew that because I could see the mirth in his eyes like he was glad to do what he did.
