Capítulo 37: The city behind the wall.

Karla had to get ready to go with Kai. According to him, she had to change because what she was wearing wasn't fitting for where they were about to go and her dress was "distracting". He was getting on her last nerve and she just wanted to be done with this.

"You are doing this for Hemera. All this is for Hemera." She kept on reminding herself. If not for her, she would never agree to be stuck with this man in the woods in the first place.

She changed into a darker dress and a pair of boots and she went outside to the fields. There was only one horse and Kai was talking to it or something; she couldn't tell.

"Are you ready?" he asked when he finally noticed her.

"Yes," Karla answered. She looked around, wondering where her horse was.

"Where is my horse?" she asked.

"What do you mean?" He asked back.
