Paige was the last to come to Rio to take the improvised version.
As soon as he handed her the improvised version of her cultivation manual, he waited for her to leave, but she just stood there without moving.
Not understanding what she wanted, Rio tried to deduce something, and then it struck him.
'Maybe it's that...'
He opened his mouth to explain the situation so she would return and start practicing the improvised cultivation technique.
"Look, I don't have that many jade slips at the moment, and I used however many I had. Since you only practice the cultivation technique, I have-"
"That's not it."
"Huh?"
Paige interjected while Rio was talking, giving him a slight surprise as he turned to face her.
The intent behind his actions was very clear.
'He wants me to clarify what I meant.'
"Why are you doing this? I don't doubt that you'd be able to improve our cultivation manuals, but why? Why would you do that?"

Hardy1j Honestly, I have no idea how these two chapters came out today, I was without any ideas on how to progress things naturally in them.
I think I maybe enjoying this arc thoruoghly that I can write even with the feaking headache I have. Maybe the idea to give him a headache came from it too? Hehe
