Capítulo 47: Putting on Kisa

I stay in my room the rest of the day without bothering to go down for food. I don't need to eat, I need to strategize. 

If Dominik isn't going to be honest with me, then I'm on my own. And I don't believe for a second that he's not the one Ivan is looking for. It's totally him. With the way he said everything in his life is a game and that he pretends in order to keep people safe? It's got to be him. 

I have a feeling his denial is a knee-jerk reaction, kind of like when someone asks me if I'm hungry and I immediately deny it. But it felt like he would tell me the truth. The fact that he won't, that he would rather lie, hurts. 

Maybe I shouldn't expect so much of him. We've known each other a few days. Why should he trust me? My job is to find him. It's the entire reason I'm here. It's what's keeping me from my family. He probably expects me to sell him out to Ivan so that I can leave.
