"Sigh…"
Letting out a deep sigh, Lenny fell back on the comfy desk chair and grabbed his phone.
On the phone screen, the digital clock read 10:08 PM, with only two hours left before it was a brand new day—Monday, actually.
'...I'm on the day shift tomorrow. I have to go to bed extra early to meet up,' Lenny told himself before putting away his phone.
Permitting the gentle glow of the desktop computer to smear his face, he stared blankly ahead, pondering on the words of encouragement he just told his viewers.
Disregarding the fact he wasn't truly ever going to follow his own advice to "talk to someone" about his issues and depressive thoughts, was he really qualified to dare to give people hope, when he only acquired his by chance?
Wasn't he saying the exact same thing the lucky people of today's society said to him, that he should just keep striving, running on the endless hamster wheel of despair?
