Rin's POV:

"You wanna know about my past? Is that why you brought me here?" Looking at the moon with our bodies resting on a bridge of luminous butterflies, Ken bemused me with his sudden questions. "Why not just look into my soul and find out what you wanna know?"

Taking a moment's pause he heaved a sigh and answered.

"Because I wanna know more about each one of you, and using that power hasn't exactly been the best route of action," staring at the moon still, he took another deep breath and squeezed my hand lightly. "Besides, I wanna know how much you are willing to tell me yourself–that, and if you can trust me with your past. Can you?"

Turning his head towards me, he held my gaze while waiting for my response. Feeling a strange sensation welling up inside me, I rolled my eyes and responded.
