'I couldn't even detect her… But…' Despite the danger, Haru controlled his initial surprise and spoke calmly, "We don't mean any harm."

"Haru!?" Kuga exclaimed in shock, instinctively trying to help.

"Don't move if you want your friend to live!" the dagger's owner warned, halting Kuga in his tracks. The voice, though filled with anger, was distinctly feminine and oddly familiar to Haru. 

'Wait a second…!' Recognition dawned on him, making his eyes widen slightly.

"Haru..." Kuga was at a loss, seeing his friend caught and threatened by an unknown woman.

"Don't worry, Kuga. Just trust me," Haru said calmly.

Kuga sighed, stepping back as the woman instructed, though his concern was evident.
